ANNOUNCEMENTS Jeff Davis CALL TO WORSHIP Shaun Hartsell

∆ OPENING HYMN He Lives #368

RECONNECTING TO GOD Jack Vogt Lord God, we sing about it; we cry about it; we celebrate it. Why, dear Father, do we continue to hold Jesus’ resurrection so loosely? Holy Spirit of Life, fill us up with true understanding as to what it means to believe in Easter; help each of us to learn what Jesus’ resurrection means in our personal life as well as in the life of this, Your church. In Your mercy, forgive us when our actions do not match up with our belief: enable us to live each and every day with the joy and gratitude that Jesus is risen. In His precious Name we pray. Amen

∆ WORSHIP THROUGH PRAISE ____ Praise Team & Choir

Everlasting God CHILDREN’S MESSAGE Jeff Davis

Immediately following the children’s message, the children will be escorted to our preschool building for children’s church. They will return to the Sanctuary during the closing song.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE Luke Thompson

Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the King-dom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

This Wednesday night is the final contemporary

worship service of the spring semester.

The service will be suspended through the summer and resume in the fall. The

final sermon will be tag-teamed by our

very own Jeff Davis and Rev. Shaun

Hartsell on the fourth installment of

Pirates of the Caribbean, which releases

into theaters on May 20th.

Last Ignite Service of the Semester

All women of the Church are invited to the PW

Brunch on Saturday, May 14th, at 9:30am. The

brunch will be held in the Church sanctuary, and our hostesses will be the Monday Circle of Friends.

The guest speaker will be our own Julie Laursen,

Director of the Precious Children in the Highlands preschool. Childcare will be provided from 9:30am

– 11:30am. Bring a friend and join us!

Presbyterian Women’s Brunch

Please plan to stay for fellowship and fun following

today’s worship service. We will have our Easter Egg

Hunt for all children on the front lawn at 11:30am. All of the eggs will be empty, just like Jesus’ tomb. The

empty eggs can be exchanged for candy following the

hunt. There will be a grey bin for children to place their

found eggs in, and candy may then be picked up at the

designated table nearby.
