(3) Victor is also the Chairman of Baharicom Development Company (Reference (b) above), which is now deploying ACE ultra high-speed (5 tra bps) optical fiber submarine cable along the west coast of Africa from South Africa to France — US$700 million project with French Telecom and others — see ACE in the following diagrams;

(4) Tom’s talk on his invention of fast extrusion of optical fiber at Corning Glass up in Ithaca, NY would be very interesting, since his invention has changed the world of informatics considerably in the past quarter century — see Reference (c) above — his invention is certainly made possible the advent of ACE at whopping 5 tera bps!!

(5) Hans’ talk on the activities of his Millennium Institute would also be very interesting, particularly on the use of system dynamics methodology for policy analysis and evaluation for many governmental agencies around the world — the methodology would also be the backbone of our GEWS projects.
