INTERNATIONAL SCIENCEAND INVENTION FAIR

INTRODUCTION

By looking at the development and knowledge of children today about science, invention and innovation, especially in the field of science, it requires us to know the extent of the students insights, knowledge and abilities in applying their knowledge of science.

Therefore, our Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) Indonesia will hold an international-level Invention competition called “International Science and Invention Fair (ISIF)" as the right learning platform tonurture our young talented inventors who are active, creative and innovative.

Indonesian Young Scientists Association (IYSA) is an institution that moves on the development of the potential, talents and creativity of the Indonesian students by providing opportunities for Indonesian studentson competition and non scientific competition domestically or abroad. Therefore IYSA stands as a form of our deep concern provide opportunities for Indonesian students specifically, in order to bring up potential and the skills needed and soul-building competition in them selves. We do this to create improvements in life. Because, we believe that every student has potential which can be developed.

Since its inception, IYSA has been active in a variety of ways activities that can be affiliated with a lot countries like: Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, China, India, Taiwan, Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt, Abu Dhabi and others.

The Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L) is an educational and research institution dedicated to providing quality education and research based in Jakarta - with satellite facilities for marine, forest and health research and an international network of world-class teachers, private sector leaders, and various research partners.

Equipped with world-class facilities and lecturers with the largest number of scientific journal publications in Indonesia, i3L pioneers the development of research capabilities and capacities that have not been tried before in Indonesia with an emphasis on global competence, entrepreneurship, and the integration of educational and research activities to produce scientific leadership ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. Lectures at i3L itself use English starting from the entrance test, daily learning and examinations.

GENERAL PROVISION

TYPES OF COMPETITION

1. Participant is a students or teacher2. Each Team Consist of Maximum 6 Students and

maximum 2 person for teacher3. Evaluation will be done in 15 minutes (7 minutes poster

presentation and 8 minutes question and answer question)

1. Competition for students (elementary, secondary, university)

2. Competition for teachers

Judging criteria for extended abstract,presentation, poster and video:

• Urgency : 30%• Visibility : 20%• Relevance : 30%

• Presentation : 20 %

1. Fill out the registration form on www.isif.or.idby choosing the category competition

2. Attach the extended abstract in English(format is provided) Maximum 5 pages

3. Upload link video presentation.4. Make a payment registration.

5. Payment confirmation via website by attaching the remittance.

IV. ClosingContains the conclusion of the discussion that has been describe previously.

References A list that contains at least 10 of reference used in the paper. T

Abstract in English

1. Each scientific paper must not exceed 5 pages excluding cover and references page.

2. Font : Arial (12), line space : 1, margin : 4,3,3,3 (left, right, top, bottom), justify, paper A4

3. Paper is typed by following the correct and proper scientific writing procedures.

4. Extended abstract in PDF and PNG Format

VIDEO RULES

1. Video contains a description of the product.2. Video explaining about the systemic manufacture of

product.3. Video maximum 5 minutes

1. Video must be uploaded to the participants YouTube channel maximum October 20, 2020

PRESENTATION FORMAT1. Presentation are able to be delivered in English, as well

as the presentation material (in power point format)2. Each team has 7 minutes to Present their work and 8 minutes to feedback by the judges. Each team has 15

minutes in front of the jury.3. Each team must bring the product while presentation.

PRESENTATION RULES1. Each team must be on time.

2. Each team has (7 minutes to present their work and 8 minutes to Q&A.3. If the participant is late in coming from the predetermined time, it will

automatically reduce the time for presentation and question and answer4. Participants must turn on the camera during the presentation

5. Participants must display a power point while presenting their research results.

6. Participants must ensure a stable internet connection7. Participants are required to change the zoom name with the following

format "Name of school / university name of team leader".8. Participants must wear polite clothes (may wear a uniform / alma mater)9. If the participant does not attend the deadline, then the participant will not get a presentation grade and only get a grade from the paper and

video10. The supervisor is allowed to enter Zoom during the presentation

11. Only 3 mentors are allowed to enter the zoom (participants are asked to confirm with the committee)
