The Process

Set the auction date and timeNormally a 4 week marketing campaign in the lead up to the auction.

List the proprerty on apax.com.auTogether with general marketing photos and property detail you will need to display the sale

contract, disclosure statements and any relevant government notices and prescribed forms etc.

Accept or reject bidders registrationsPotential buyers will register to bid providing ID, and details of their intentions to bid. You have the authority

to accept those bidders or reject bidders at your will. Rejected bidders will not be able to participate in the

auction. You can request further information from registering bidders or organise VOI through solicitors etc.

Set the reserve priceThe Reserve price is the mimimum price that you would be willing to accept for the property.

(Once the Reserve Price is reached or exceeded the property will be sold on the completion of the auction).

Watch the auction proceedings onlineAs the vendor’s agent you will be able to chat directly with bidders before and during

the auction and place vendor bids through the auctioneer on the APAX platform.

Exchange contracts and pay the depositOn completion of the Auction the agent will then organise signing and exchange of the

sale contract and payment of the purchase deposit directly with the successful purchaser.
