Metal sculptures and installations investigate the overlay of the original, living Aboriginal culture and the mysterious Toas by a subsequent introduced industrial culture. That industrial culture is now itself melting into the ground in an era of economic
disruption. Echoes of each live on in the landscape and markers can be found around us - if only we look.

Emma Sirona-Macdonald & Paul Brighton Cyanotypes of the Fleurieu
Using the cyanotype process we record and present the collection of unique botanical and beach treasures found on our walks within the Fleurieu Peninsula. The cyanotype preserves the fragility of the specimens and elevates what seems an ordinary plant or seaweed into a beautiful print. This process references the importance of preserving our fragile environment and passing on the beauty of the landscape to the next generation.
