What is the Global TB Caucus? ● TheGlobalTBCaucusisaninternationalnetworkof parliamentarianswhoarecommittedtothefightagainst tuberculosis(TB).
● TheVisionoftheCaucusisaworldfreefromTB.
● Theparliamentariansworkinpartnershiptobuildthepolitical will to achieve that vision.
● Itwaslaunchedin2014andhashundredsofparliamentarians as members.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We know that ending the TB epidemic requires taking action at local, regional and global levels. At the global level,theGlobalTBCaucusregularlycomestogethertoholdmeetingstodiscussglobalprioritiesinthefightagainstTB,theGlobalTBSummitandthelatestdevelopmentstowardsendingTB.
At a regional level,theParliamentariansareorganisedintoregionalTBcaucuses. Thesedriveregionalaction,supportnationalAll-PartyGroups,andensurethattheGlobalTBCaucusistrulyrepresentativeofparliamentariansfromacrosstheworld.
At a national level,theyworktosupporttheestablishmentofnationalAll-PartyParliamentaryGroupsonTB. Inthistheyrelyheavilyonthesupportoflocalcivilsocietywhohavetheknowledgeandtheexpertisetotackletheepidemicsintheirowncountries.

● EngagewiththeSecretariatsoftheTBCaucus– findoutwhatishappeninginyourcountryandregionand howyoucanbeinvolved
