Hover over any Main Menu item with yourmouse to expand its list, or click on any MainMenu item to open the corresponding page,where you can find links to the items in the list.

Using the Search Box: The SEARCH box is found next to themagnifying glass in the black bar at the far upper right corner of each site.

Type a page name or subject you’d like tofind in the SEARCH box, then click thereturn or enter key on your keyboard.

The RESULTS page shows a series of documents that best match the text you entered in the SEARCH box. If the web teamhas entered a keyword for a page, the EDITOR’S CHOICE page shows a list ofpages for which visitors frequently search.

Switching Sites:To move between the three web sites, clickon the Select a Site box in black bar in thefar upper left of each screen, and click tomake your selection.

Using the calendars:Here are a few ways to view calendars.

1. Click Go to Main Calendar from themini-calendar on each home page(click on a day shown in red to go toan events list for that day).

2. Find links to the one-page printableacademic year calendar below themini-calendar (pdf file). Or to view theone-page annual calendars and to linkto each of the calendars, click below: www.lb65.org/parents/calendars

3. Click on the PARENTS menu to find theCALENDARS menu for the school.

Use the options that display above a calendar to change from day to month view or to search for specific events.

Note: Many teachers display events particular to their classrooms. On the LBES and LBMS sites, under the SCHOOLINFORMATION menu, select Staff WebPages and navigate to your teacher’s web site.

Accessing news:There are several sources for newsabout District 65.

On the HOME page, the main area underthe Mission is devoted to NEWS. Afterthe short summary, click “READMORE…” to view the complete article.

To the right, you’ll find other informationunder ANNOUNCEMENTS, plus links tolonger articles and related information.

Below this on the District and LBMS sitesare TWITTER feeds, where you will findshort comments about happenings inand around the Lake Bluff schools.

Finding the schools:For a Google-based interactive map thatcan be used to get directions, click on or hover over (or on a smartphone,touch) CONTACT US, then choose INTERACTIVE MAP in the list below.

Finding people:To view staff contact information, selectthe CONTACT US menu and selectSTAFF DIRECTORY.

BOARD MEMBERS and OFFICESTAFF links are also found under theCONTACT US menu on the District site.

Finding staff and club webpages:On the school web sites, look under thePARENTS and STUDENTS menus tofind web sites provided by teachers andco-curricular groups.
