Guido Bertucci Headed The United Nations Programme On Public Administration, Finance and Development

Currently serving as the Executive Director of “Governance Solutions International”, Guido Bertucci was in charge of the United Nations Programme on Public Administration, Finance and Development from 1993 until 2008.

The United Nations Programme on Public Administration, Finance and Development focuses on the worldwide promotion of sound public policy, good governance and efficient and competent public administration.

Furthermore, he has been responsible for advocacy activities in governance and public administration at the global level.

Guido Bertucci Was Responsible For Launching “The World Public Sector Report”, a Flagship Publication Of The United Nations

Guido Bertucci has significantly contributed to the development and the management of networks in governance and public administration, especially the United Nations Online Network in Public Administration (UNPAN) with over 30 global and regional partners.

Furthermore, he has gained recognition for efficiently managing large scale departments and operations including financial and human resources.

He has also been responsible for developing and managing technical assistance project in governance and public management.

Guido Bertucci Promotes Innovation In Governance And Public Administration

Guido Bertucci holds a degree in Political Science and holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Administrative Sciences from the Catholic University of Milan.

Furthermore, he has received a number of honorary doctorate degrees. Guido Bertucci’s experience includes teaching, lecturing and training public employees.

He was an Adjunct Professor of Public Administration at the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service, New York University, from 1992 to 1993.

Guido Bertucci Launched The UN e-Government Readiness Report

Guido Bertucci, was responsible for the launch of the “UN e-Government Readiness Report”, a yearly publication, which has become a highly popular tool for benchmarking e-Government development.

He also launched the annual “Compendium of Innovative e-Government Practices”. He is considered a world renowned expert in methodologies for benchmarking e-government.

In addition he has been responsible for directing and writing a number of publications on a wide spectrum of subjects related to public policy, governance and public administration and civil service.
