WELCOME TO THE NATIONAL SHOW 2018
From The President
It is with great pleasure that I welcome Wyandotte fanciers and their families from across Australia to the 2018 Wyandotte Club of Australia National Show to be held at Gunnedah Showground, NSW on the 23rd and 24th June. Gunnedah is a lovely rural town of around 10,000 people with conveniently located accommodation, services, restaurants, etc, so a wonderful social experience is assured.
As always this is the event of the year for Wyandotte fanciers and it is hoped we will have exhibitors from every state in the country. Indications are very encouraging that we will not only have a strong entry of birds, but a contingent of interested fanciers simply wanting to be part of this very special occasion.
Our National Show Committee chaired by Brad Anderson has done a sterling job arranging, in detail, every aspect required to conduct this National Show. The National Show Committee comprises members of both the Hunter Valley Wyandotte Club and the Gunnedah Poultry Club. They have all devoted an enormous amount of time and effort and we owe them a great debt of gratitude for their ongoing and outstanding commitment.
We have a great line up of judges with years of experience and I am extremely grateful that they have accepted our invitation to officiate and pass on their knowledge to our members.
The President’s Dinner, Presentation and Memorabilia Auction on Saturday evening are sure to be an occasion not to be missed and I urge all Gunnedah attendees to join me along with our club executive and National Show committee for an enjoyable and unforgettable social evening.
Kind regards Brian Bennett
