The field is open for study after graduation to pursue post graduation

in the specialization from various IIT's, NIT's and top notch institutes in a

plethora of disciplines which range from design, heat transfer, thermal

engineering, production engineering etc., to a more new and upcoming

fields like non conventional sources of energy. Pursuance of diploma in

management from various reputed institutes like IIM, Symbiosis, IIPM etc.,

is also a very viable and lucrative scenario to advance the career options

of students.

PLACEMENT CELL AND PLACEMENTS:

There is a separate placement cell for each of the Schools of

Engineering, Management and Computer Applications. The placement cell

is constituted with subject experts, language and soft skill trainers.

The job of the college does not end in making the students acquire

their degrees with distinction. By gaining credibility, it should also attract

the attention of industry and company that offer jobs to the students. The

School of Management Studies has the reputation over the years to attract

top industries and companies to its campus. The companies include WIPRO,

Mahindra Satyam, TCS, Cognizant Technologies, HSBC, Genpact,

declaration of results:

(a) The average of first and second valuation marks shall be

the final marks for declaration of results.

62

(b) In the case of difference between the first and second

valuation exceeds 25% the maximum marks of the

examination (i.e., 18 in case of 70 marks paper and 20 in

case of 80), the script will referred to third valuation.

(c) Candidates can apply for revaluation separately.

Information about revaluation fees, last date and the

procedure for applying for revaluation etc., is intimated

through a circular. The total process will be completed

within 15 days after the declaration of results. In case of

revaluation, the better of the original mark (OM) and

revaluation mark shall be the final mark. In case of a

difference of 25% between OM and revaluation mark, the

script will be referred for second revaluation. In such

cases, the average of the three valuations (OM, I and II
