    Recycling is picked up approximately

once a week. In December recycling

pickups include the 20 and 31. In

    January the 8, 15, 22, and 29

    (all Tuesdays) will be recycling

    pickup days. The green ood/

yard waste bins are picked up

every second week. For now thatmeans the 31 of December and

the 15 and 29 of January.

I your green bins are ull, you can

place leaves in a standard garbage

can or in biodegradable paper bags.

Leaves set out in plastic bags will not

be picked up. Note that lea cans and

paper bags may not be picked up at the same

time as your green bin/ yard trimmings cart.

co-op must pay to have them removed.

Unwanted urniture and other large items

can be taken to the city dump, removed

by a junk removal service, or donated

to a thrit store. Some thrit stores or

and dont make your neighbours pay

    to remove your unwanted household

    items.

Breakfast with SantaThe co-op kids were thrilled to meet Mr.

and Mrs. Claus at the annual Breakast

with Santa December 15. Hopeton cooked

pancakes, sausages, and eggs (do we ever

give him a day o the grill?) which were

then served up by abulous volunteers. Mr.

Claus handed out presents, which were eagerly

received, and Mrs. Claus kindly read aloud an illus-

trated version o that well-loved poem, Twas The NightBefore Christmas. Thanks to the social committee or

organizing the event, and arranging a visit rom the

man in the red suit himsel. We didnt know you had
