● Love Sport Radio launched in 2018 as London Only radio broadcaster.● In December 2019 Love Sport purchased a national licence, and began broadcasting

nationally across the whole of the United Kingdom on digital radio.● In doing so it offers the UK an alternative to the only (and highly successful) sports

radio station in the UK, Talk Sport.● There are over 200 sports radio stations in the USA, but until now there has just been

one in the UK.● Love Sports Chief Executive, Kelvin MacKenzie was the man behind the success of

Talk Sport, founding and subsequently selling the UK’s first commercial sports radio station for £100 million a decade ago

Audience Profile

● Love Sport currently records an audience of 33,000 weekly listeners in London, and estimated 100,000 nationally on DAB and 100,000 via fan club podcasts

● 200,000 weekly sport fans across radio and podcast*

● Love Sport was aimed at a younger demographic of listener and sports fan, and that has been reflected in audience figures.

● 54% of its audience are aged 15-34 compared to just 29% of Talk Sports.

● Major Premier League Clubs are covered, Manchester United & Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea & Leicester all have their own shows.

● Plus the Championship clubs are given unique coverage. It’s the 3rd most watched league in all of European Football, and hasn’t previously been given the attention on UK radio that its support base demands.
