Classes are open to all purebred registered PRE, Spanish (non-ANCCE registered),
Lipizzaner, Lusitano, Peruvian Paso, Paso Fino and Friesian Horses. You must record your
breed and association registration on the entry form.
NOTE: Purebred and Partbred horses must enter only one section - i.e. If Purebred you may
only enter the Purebred Foundation Breeds (if eligible) OR Purebred Other Iberian Classes, if
Partbred you may only enter Partbred Foundation Breeds or Partbred Other Iberian classes.
All competitors entered are to assist with the putting up and taking down of the equipment
used for the Working Equitation and Jumping Classes to help with the smooth running of the
show.
Iberian horses do not require a height certificate, unless, they are competing in other sections
of the show.
CLASSES WILL BE AMALGAMATED IF LESS THEN 3 ENTRIES

This is a Qualifying Show for Horse of the Year 2020. As you now require a Qualification
Certificate to enter, it is the Competitors responsibility to have the forms completed. Forms
are available from the RAS website.
· All entries must be registered with The Welsh Pony & Cob Society of New Zealand (Inc) in
either The Welsh Pony & Cob Society of NZ Stud Book or The Welsh Pony & Cob Society
of NZ Partbred Register or in the case of foals, must be eligible for registration. Partbred
Registration allowance is 12.5%
Ponies and Cobs must be entered under their fully registered name and Registration number.
· Registration number must be given on the Show Entry Form and produced on Show Day if
requested by the Steward, Chief Steward or Judge.
· There is no height restriction in the partbred section of the Welsh Classes
· Registered Welsh Purebreds must not be plaited in IN-Hand Classes unless exhibited in
the Ridden or Driven Classes on that day.
· Youngstock, regardless of sections, must NOT be plaited
