Agenda

Hackademics is a multinational organization that hosts programming competitions and seeks to bring together talented developers from across the Asia-region to build software that can improve education. Development teams compete to win prizes by impressing a panel of judges who are industry leaders in education, technology, and venture capital.

Event ProspectusHackademics will host a 32-hour hackathon in Hong Kong and Tokyo tentatively set on March19-20th or April 23-24th

Organization ScopeHackademics is a multinational organization that hosts programming competitions focusing on education and cloud technology as themes

Previous event highlights 104 attendees/participants 32 development teams 21 volunteers Japan, Vietnam 8 EdTech judges from venture capital, start-ups, and academia

Next event’s goals 200+ attendees/participants 50+ development teams 40+ volunteers Hong Kong and Japan simultaneously 12+ EdTech judges from venture capital, start-ups, and academia

This year we will give out 25 Oculus Rifts!
