LEGACY DONATIONS
There are usually significant benefits to donating to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit such as
Hagerman I.D.E.A, Inc (dba Hagerman Valley Foundation).
Donations to the Foundation resonate throughout the community in various tangible
ways, such as supporting the various events, revitalization and communication ef-
forts of the Foundation which have all been designed to improve the livability and
economic stability within the Hagerman Valley.
In addition, there are a wide variety of other projects the Foundation is now sponsor-
ing, including bird conservancy, the Visitor Center, and an art revival. Please feel
free to contact the Foundation with your specific questions and preferences.

NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
Rangers Catherine and Jay are working hard at greeting our park visitors, offering special programs, and updating the visitor center and plans for the future. We want to me more of a hands-on place, we are brainstorming ways for all park visitors to explore the science behind paleontology. Do you have ideas? Come discuss them with us. Speaking of science, the film company producing a new park movie will be out and about in June. Current scripting for the main part of the movie will be interviews with scientists who work in places associated with the fossil beds, including our park paleontologist of course. These interviews will explain the history and importance of the fossil beds, and also show some of the current studies and scientific inquiries occurring. The film making
process is a long one, however, please don't expect to see results for over a year from now. If you want to see results sooner, join us as a park vol-unteer and help make change happen.

BUSINESS PROPERTY CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN:
The City of Hagerman will focus on enforcing
Ordinance #390 during the summer of 2018.
Ordinance #390 requires: property owners to rid their property of useless MATERI-
ALS, WEEDS, TALL GRASS, RUBBISH, JUNK, TRASH and ABANDONED or UNLICENSED
VEHICLES and EQUIPMENT. This includes in the alleys and right-of-ways.
We have several properties in town that have ignored this responsibility for too long.
The City will ENFORCE Ordinance #390 and we will follow through until compliance is
met.
The City will use resources from the Gooding County Prosecutors office if and when
needed.
If you wonder if your property is out of compliance request a copy of Ordinance #390
from City Hall. All properties will be dealt with during the 2018 summer.
Property owners in violation can be charged up to $30.00 per day until compliance is
met.
HAGERMAN CLEAN-UP DAYS will be JUNE 15 and 16, 2018. The date has been pushed
back due to construction at the City Shop yard.
