Subtitles
Synopsis : A visual poetry of how a village girl wanting to achieve self-independence.
Director’s Statement : A collaborative work between Prabowo Setyadi (Photographer), the village youths in Sutawangi and myself, working on the issues that the female youths faced living in their village as well as Indonesia as a whole and tackling one of those issues discussed, which is portrayed in this visual poetry.
Done during my artiste residency in Jatiwangi Artiste in Residence Festival (2010).
