For sometime, now, it has been gone, Finally my heart’s moved on. Through I thought my soul would break, A man knows not what he can take. And now I’m out the other side, Full my heart feels, strong with pride. There is another, who lead the way, Whose healing touch, and love I may Keep so long as I could. She rescued me from darkling woods. Bright the day does now seem, She stands illumined, a single beam. Her golden hair throws off the light, To guide me safely through the night.
