Below the useful instructions to facilitateyour contact with the event and have

all the time to concentrate on your race.


BY CAR:Take VERONA NORD exit driving on A22 Brennero/Modena motorway.Follow indications to the City centre –Stadium by driving on the me-dian ring-road Exit Stadium: here use car parks A, B and C.Car parks are free and a private security service will bearranged over it.Should any damages or theft occur, the managing Committee won’t be responsible at all.

BY TRAIN:Arrival to the Verona Porta Nuova railway station and here follow the

Stadium direction, 1,5 km far, where is located the Starting Grid,.

HOW TO COME?


BY BUS:Take VERONA NORD exit driving on A22 Modena/Brennero motorway.Follow indications to the City centre –Stadium Exit Stadium: here there is a visible Bus park sign.

BY CAMPER: 800 mt far from the Start Area there is an equipped camper park in Via G.Dalla Bona in Porta Palio (close to the city centre).You can also park your camper in the camper parks number B or C at Palazzetto dello Sport, but no security service will be granted.

HOW TO COME?


On Sunday, from 8.00 a.m. up to 5.00 p.m., will operate continuously a free shuttle service dedicated to athletes and companions, which connects the Finish Area to the Start Area.

Shuttle service will take runners from their hotel in the city centre to the Start Area.

The shuttle stops will be clearly marked by a board:- City centre: Corso Porta Nuova- Palazzetto dello Sport: parking C

The bibs will be available in Giulietta Sport Expoclose to Verona Palasport at the ExpoGensan Giulietta e Romeo Half Marathon on:

Friday February 12th, 2016 from 15.00 to 20.00Saturday, February 12th, 2016 from 10.00 to 20.00Sunday, February 13th, 2016 from 07.00 to 09.00

HOW TO PICK UP YOUR RACE NUMBER


- show up at the pick up area with the confirmation letter. The confir-mation letter has been sent by email. You can also download it directly from www.Gensan Giulietta e Ro-meo Half Marathon .it under “registration verification”.

- if the confirmation letter presents the note “ NOT CORRECT ENTRY”, you NEED toshow up in advance to the Secretariat to regularize your registration in order toproceedand regularly pick up your bib

- if you arrive without a confirmation letter you can check the number of your bib in the list of participants posted at the entrance of the

Secretariat and then you can require the copy of the confir-mation letter to proceed tothe bib pick up area.

THE BIB PICK UP PROCEDURE


RESIDENTS IN THE PROVINCE OF VERONA SHOULDPICK UP THEIR BIB ONLY ON:

Friday February 12th / Saturday, February 13th, 2016.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT REGULARIZATION OF REGISTRATIONSON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14th, 2016.

THE DELIVERY OF MISSING DOCUMENTS IS ALLOWED BY FAX OR MAIL TILL THURSDAY FEBRUARY 12th OR they can be HANDED OVER TO THE SECRE-TARIAT of THE EXPO GENSAN GIULIETTA E ROMEO HALF MARATHON on

FRIDAY 12th or on Saturday, February 13th. ATHLETES WITHOUT REGUALAR REGISTRATION WILL NOT RECEIVE THE BIB.

THE BIB PICK UP PROCEDURE


The bibis personal and it is forbidden to sell it or trade it with other people. It must be placed in a clearly visible position on the front of the torso.

Writing may not be concealed the and both the race number and tra-demarks and logos of the sponsors must be clearly legible at DISQUALI-FICATION PENALTY.

BIB


Near the STARTING AREA the storage trucks will be positioned. There you can drop your clothing bag for the deposit

Remember to APPLY to your bag in a CLEAR AND VI-SIBLE WAY your race number: you will find it inside the

race envelope. It is highly suggested to write your pho-ne number on it in case of any emergency.

ONLY THE BAGS PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZINGCOMMITTEE ARE ACCEPTED

The trucks will leave Palazzetto dello Sport bound to the Finish area NOT LATER THAN 9.30 a.m.

STARTING AREA


The arrival of the Gensan Giulietta e Romeo Half Marathon is located t few meters from the entrance of ARENA .

At the finish line, after the collection of FINISHER commemorative medal and return the timing chip you will find a dedicated refreshment desk and then the truck with the clothing bags.

Once you come to the finish area, you’re asked, please, to leave it quickly in order to keep the area free. Close to the finish area lots of photographers will take a memory photo of you.

The entrance to the grids is authorized according to the colour of the bib and NOT the number of race.Access to the grids are open from 09.15. To access the Start Area follow the mar-

ked route, about 50 meters from the storage trucks.

ENTRANCE TO THE GRIDS


The electronic timing is provided by TDS Live.The chip is placed on the back of the bib and must not removed for any reason, in fault it will be excluded from the classification.

Chip must be rendered to Organization Staff after the end of the race, under penalty of € 25.

The route is marked by direction and mileage indicators.The timekeeping points are located at the:

The organizing committee reserves the right to make further con-trols on the course to ensure the regularity of the event.

A fixed “Retired athletes” service is available at Km:- 6- 16- 19

Itwill be guaranteed also a sag wagon following the race in order to meet thetraffic suspention time limit of three hours.

SAG WAGONAND TIME LIMIT


Along the way, and at the refreshment there will be emergency stations of the Croce Rossa.

Additionally there will also be mobile units (bicycles) in case of needed rapid intervention for emergencies.

Palazzetto dello Sport / start area will host a free massages service after the race.

HEALTH SERVICE ON THE ROUTE:

MASSAGE AREA / CHANGING ROOM:


At Palazzetto dello Sport there are 48 hot shower-baths divided for women and for men.

At the end of the race all runners can go to the Palazzetto dello Sport /start area to take a hot shower. They can use the free shuttle service starting from 8 a.m. up to 5.00 p.m. (the course will take about 10minu-tes).

From 12 am to 3 pm Palasport will host PASTA PARTY - free for athletes and charged for companions

Race Results will be exposed first inside Expo marathon and then will be available and downloaded on the web site: www.giuliettaeromeo-halfmarathon.it.

All classified runners can download the Certificate of Participation on the website: www.giuliettaeromeohalfamarathon.it.

RESULTS


The awards ceremony for winners will take place in Finish area begin-ning at 11.30.

The awards ceremony for amateurs and sport teams will take place at 14.00 at the Palasport.

PRIZEGIVING


Studio Foto CASTAGNOLI is charged to take photos of the runners all along the race and then to send them home to everyone.
