Aims for half termAs we have recently received extremely useful and helpful feedback on our coursework idea, especially through the animatic we made. Therefore, there are many tasks we can complete in order to improve and act upon our essential feedback.

The main comments made in the feedback on our animatic consists of: -Questions about our locations -Questions about the amount of time it will take to film and edit -Questions about the actors we will use

Location Scouting

We are going to visit some possible locations that we could use in our music video

We have numerous locations we have planned to shoot:1) Studio2) Party/Casino3) House

For the studio we will probably use rooms within our houses for either a plain background or sparkly background

For the party/casino it will be unrealistic to film in a real casino therefore we are going to use a roulette table we already have and shoot through close ups

The house will not be shot that much in our music video, we will use one of our own houses

ActorsAs we originally planned for Britney to be Luna and Max to be her boyfriend in the music video, we have come to the agreement through feedback that this will not be very practical as this will only leave Dan to film and frame the shots.

Therefore we have decided to find other actors to be play Luna and her boyfriend. As we have realized our music video will take quite a long time to film as we are shooting in various locations, the actors will be asked to be filmed quite a lot. Thus we need to find reliable actors who will be happy to take up a lot of their own time to be filmed. Dan’s cousin used to do drama and as she is very reliable we have asked her to be Luna and as she already has a boyfriend who can act as her boyfriend in the music video, this will make it more realistic.

Time to film and edit

As we have realized our music video will take quite a long time to film due to our various locations – we will need to start filming after half term

The process of making our animatic has been very useful as we now know how long it will roughly take to edit our music video

Over half term we plan to trial shoot some of the locations so we know if they will be good in our music video

Before we start filming our music video we plan to make a structured and well thought out plan to film so we do not waste filming time
