Halloween

Halloween is on the 31st October.It is a holiday when people dress up as

scary things like witches and ghosts.

Children dress up as many different things.

One of the Halloween traditions is to carve a pumpkin.

After we have carved the pumpkins, we put candles inside and put

them outside our houses.

How to carve a pumpkin1. Cut off the top of the pumpkin.

2. Scoop out the inside of the pumpkin.

3. Draw on your design.

4. Cut out the pumpkin along the lines.

5. Light a candle inside and put the lid back on.

Trick or TreatingChildren go from house to house and say

“Trick or treat” to collect sweets from their neighbours to put in their bags.
