Principal’s Message:

Broken Bay Excursion Firstly I would like to congratulate all the students that attended our Broken Bay camp, from crowded trains to the Sport and Recreation Camp, we were commended for our outstanding behaviour! Well done! The students made the most of every activity and had so much fun with their friends from Capertee. Broken Bay Parent Costings Now that the Broken Bay excursion is over, we will be paying the final invoice for this excursion on behalf of all students and teachers who attended. Cathy has provided all costings to Capertee Public School for their share of the costs and also for our parents in order to pay the entire amount owing to NSW Sport and Recreation. As all parents pre-paid a $40.00 deposit, this amount is taken from the final balance owed by you. The total owed by Hampton Public School was $880.89 and with great thanks to our P&C, they have subsidised half of this cost. This leaves a total of $440.45 (rounded up) divided by and payable by all students, making the cost of each student who attended an individual total of $88.10 (rounded up) - less the $40.00 already paid leaves a final total of $48.10 due and owing, which I think you will agree is a very reasonable cost for this excursion. As the school’s end of year rollover is at the end of November, it would be greatly appreciated if all fees, and any other outstanding payments owed by families, could be paid by no later than 21st November. These can of course be paid by cash, cheque or P.O.P. Should you require any details of outstanding fees/payments due to the School, please do not hesitate to contact Cathy at your earliest convenience.
