Hanbang CMS is composed by CMS Server and Client.CMS Server supports
Resource,Device centralized management and Stream Media Server,Alarm Management
functions.

3、 Software install
Please install "PSService.exe" first, and then install "PCTerminal.exe".
Install PSService.exe
Click “Next” to enter next step.

The default directory is system disk Program File, and user can select the directory by
himself.
Set the HTTP port and Media Server port(Default are 80 and 8000).

Click “Install” to start installation;
Install finished,click finish to quit the installation.

4、 Software instruction
4.1 Software Login
4.11 IE Login
Type the http://ServerIP in the IE,then it will display the Login GUI.
Plz download the plug-in PCControl.exe when you login first time.After installation,it will
display the login GUI.

Username: Login username;
Password: Login password;
Verify Code: Input the same Verify code which display on the IE.
Reset: Click Reset button to clear input and select bars.
Note: Default User is admin,password: 123456.
4.1.2 Video Surveillance Terminal Login
Open the Video Surveillance Terminal on the desktop icon, enter the software.

Language: English or China
Username: Login username;
Password: Login password;
Port: Media port;
Note: Default User is admin, password: 123456.
4.2 System Configuration
Hint:
1. There are several modules in the CMS,user need to set separately;
2. All the settings need to save to take effect.
4.2.1 Device Status
4.2.1.1 Device Status
After enter the CMS,it will show the [Device Status]

Icon Explaination:
Grey indicates device offline.
Green indicates device online.
Green lock icon indicates device is online and alarm setting.
4.2.2 Region Management
4.2.2.1 Region Setup
Click the Regional Management -> Modify to enter the regional settings page (see
below)

Device list: Device list display the added area;
Add sub-region: Select the region from the region list,click Add to add the sub-region.Input
the region information and save it.
Delete Region: Click to delete selected region.
Modify Region: Click to modify region information.
Hint:
1. If you delete region it will delete all sub-region and also devices.
2. Can not delete default region,only can be modified.
4.2.3 User Management
User Management includes: User Group Management,User Management,Modify
Password.

4.2.3.1 User Group Management
Choose User Management-Group Setting to enter the interface as follows:
Interface instruction: User can add,modify ,delete user group in this interface.
1. Add User Group: Click “Add Group” and input the group information; The new user
group will appear in the list;
2. Modify Group: Click modify icon to enter the modify interface and modify the
information;
3. Delete Group: Click delete icon and then select Yes/No.;
4.2.3.2 User Management
Choose User Management-User Setting to enter the interface as follows:

Add User: Click to open add user page,input the user information.Click OK to save.The
default password of new user is 123456.
Reset Password: Click Reset Password button to display the Reset hint.Click “Yes” to
reset the password to 123456.
Modify: Click modify button to display the user information.Click to save.
Delete: Click Delete button to delete the User.
4.2.3.3 Modify Password
Click 【User Management—Modify Password】 to enter the password interface.

This function is used to modify the current user password.
4.2.4 Device Management
Device Management include: Device Management,Sequence Setting,Upgrade
Manegement.
4.2.4.1 Device Management
Click 【Device Management】 to enter the device management interface.

Add Device: Click to add the new device.After input the device information,click “OK”to
save the device to device list.
Modify: Click to modify the device information.And click “Save” to finish setting.
Delete: Click to delete Device in the Device list.
Note: 1.The add device information must be correct.Otherwise it will occur some errors.
2.User can drag the device to other region.
Channel Authority: Click “Channel ” in the device list to set the channel authority.

4.2.4.2 Sequence Setting
Click 【Device Management-Sequence Setting】 to enter sequence setting interface.

Add Time Period: Click to enter the time period interface.After input information,click “OK”
to save.
Modify: Click to enter the modify interface.After modify information,click “OK” to save.

Delete: Click to delete selected time period.;
Auto Sequence: Click to set the current time period sequence.
Specified Sequence: Click set the current channel sequence.
Drag Device: Drag the device to set sequence channels.
Delete Channel: Click to delete sequence channel.
Step1: Click one sequence created item, choose the auto sequence channels range or the
device range of that item. You can directly drag some device to the area as follows: in this
case, only 82T be dragged to the second sequence item.
Step 2: Choose one window in the black area and it will show red border.
Step 3: Choose target channels from the device list in the right side which you want to
sequence in that red window.
Step 4: Choose channels to other windows. If you don’t choose channels to other windows,
those windows will auto sequence from first channel to last channel of the step 1 setting.

Step 5: Go back to the real-time preview interface, click the “∨” in the right above corner
and choose start sequence.

Notes:
1. When you just want system auto sequence from first channel to last channel, you just
need do the step1, then click “auto” and go back to the real time interface to start the
sequence.
2. You can also drag or delete the channel one by one.
4.2.4.3 Upgrade Management
Click 【 Device Management-Upgrade Management 】 to enter the Upgrade
Management interface
Upload File: Click to enter select file interface.After select upgrade file ,click upload to
upload file to Server and display on file list.
Download: Click to download upgrade file to local.
Delete: Click to delete upgrade file.

Note: If upgrade files name are the same,it will auto overwrite the former one.
4.2.5 Alarm Management
Alarm Management include: Alarm input,Motion detection.
4.2.5.1 Alarm Input
Click 【Alarm Management-Alarm Input】 to enter alarm input interface.
Click Related to display Alarm Relation Setting.

Set the Alarm channel related video and input.Related to all channels and inputs in
default.User can set snapshot no.,interval,and alarm to preset point.
Drag the device in the device tree to the list to set.
4.2.5.2 Motion Detection
Click【Alarm Management— Motion Detection】 to Enter motion detection interface.
Motion detection setting is the same as alarm input.

4.2.6 Log Management
Log Management includes Alarm log,System log.
4.2.6.1 Alarm Log
Click 【Log Management—Alarm Log】 to enter the Alarm Log interface.
Input search terms and click search to display all the eligible alarm log record.
4.2.6.2 System Log
Click 【Log management-System log】 to enter the log interface:

Input search term and click search to display all the eligible system log record.
Note: System log is not the DVR log.It is the CMS operation log.
4.2.7 System Management
System Management interface include system parameter and backup/restore sub
menus.
Notes: when the default 80 and 8000 is changed , you should do the port forwarding
of these port in the local router.
4.2.7.1 Backup/Restore
This “Backup” means backup the system setting of CMS , including connecting

device information, sequence setting, alarm setting. “Restore” means restore the CMS system setting to the previous status by the backup files.
Backup: click backup, it will auto backup the currently setting and create a file in the list.
Upload file: If you have backup files in your PC , you can first upload it and then do the
restore operation.
Download: Click this icon to download backup files to your PC.
Notes: Please wait for some time for system restore , it will need a little bit long time.
4.2.8 Real-time Monitoring
Click【Real-time】 to enter the real-time interface.User can open multi-preview page to
display on the multi-monitors.

Open video and close video:
You can directly double click target device to open all corresponding channels video. Or
choose target channels from the device list.

Right click target window , and choose stop will close that window video , click the icon as
above indicates will close all real-time videos.
4.2.8.1 Screen Switch
Click to switch the screen format and set the screen the division.

4.2.8.1 Device List Tree
Right click target device , it will show some important setting options.
These motion detection, alarm input, alarm output setting are the same as the host DVR,
it’s very easy operation and understand. If has confuse please check the DVR user
manual. Remember click OK to save the setting.

Upgrade target device: Right click target device and choose upgrade, choose right
program in the pop up interface, don’t exit the interface when target DVR is upgrading.
Restart/shutdown: Right click target device, it has restart and shutdown options.

4.2.8.2 Parameter Setting
Channel Video Parameters Setting: User can set the video parameters which include
brightness,contrast,saturation,hue.
PTZ Control: Click to adjust,control PTZ.User can control the PTZ
up/down/left/right,iris,focus,zoom,wiper and light.And also,user can control the PTZ via
preset,call the preset point.

4.2.8.3 Video Plyaback
The playback channel,device and speed are displayed at bottom of the window.
Close: Click “Close” button to close the current channel.
Channel Parameters: Click to enter Channel Parameters setting interface.
Snapshot: Click to snapshot the current channel.
Record: Click to start local recording.
Audio: Click to Open/Close current channel audio.
4.2.8.4 System Menu
Click button to display the system menu.

Enable Sequence: Click “Start Sequence” to start sequence;
All Stop: Click “All Stop” to stop all the playback;
Voice Chat: Select “Voice Intercom” to pop up the voice chat interface,and drag the
device to the list to start the voice chat.
Play the linkage video:When have alarm signal, will play the linkage channel video.;
Play View:Toolbar、Status Bar、Ratio Display、Play Sub Window、Record Bitrate、Network
Bitrate,see photos 1

User can select Main Stream or Sub Stream on preview,but need to re-open the channel
image.

System Setting: Click “System Setting” to set the snapshot and recording file path.
4.2.9 Historical Playback
Click the 【Historical Playback】 to check the Playback interface.

4.2.9.1 Screen division
Click the buttons on the left corner to select Screen division.
4.2.9.2 Function button
means :Local playback, Query, Play, Download.
Local playback : Play the record data saved in local PC.
Playback record data of target channel in right side list:
Step 1 : Click query button , input start-end time , drag target channel from right device list 41
to this pop up interface , then click “query” , it will show the corresponding recording data
in the above list.
Step 2: Double click one record data, it will start playback.
4.2.9.3 Playback
The bottom of the playback window displays the current device,channel and speed.
Stop: Click stop button to stop the current video.

Progress Bar: Display the current playback progress.User can drag the progress bar to
select the playback time.
Fast forward:Click the fast forward button to fast forward the current video.
Slow forward: Click the slow forward button to slow forward the current video.
Pause: Click the pause button to pause the current video.
Continue: Click the continue button to continue the current video.
Snapshot: Click the snapshot button to get the snapshot of the current video.
Audio: Click Audio button to close/open the current channel audio.
4.2.10 Instant Alarm
Click 【Instant Playback】 to check the instant alarm.
When the alarm triggered,it will pop up the alarm hint.

The alarm snapshot is in the right side where displays the current snapshot.
Red indicates the alarm record which user have not check it.
4.3. Additional new function
4.3.1 Store Manager
This function is to upload the video file in the local sever,
1. You should install first to install this function,
After install it, the store server option will be appeared automatically in the store manager

2. You can click the pen icon to set store server option. Such as description, store path,
store path is set the file you which disk save to.
4. In the Store Strategy option, you should add a new strategy to store you video file.
Like max store days, max file size for each, what time you want to record and store.

5. In the Alarm Store, you also can set some setting like store time, file size, store disk
no. and store days. After finish this, the store function will be working normally.

6. go to the device management option, you can click store icon, then the window will
show and have some setting you need to do it. Such as which channel you need to store,
which store strategy you would use and disk no. choosing.
6. If you set path to disk c:\, the store file will be saved to C:\PSSVideo, this folder will be
created automatically if you store the file. Just go into the folder and click the video
file to play.

4.3.2 Playback new function
Playback time-bar interface
1. Enter the playback interface

2. First click the display screen you want and then click channel number to orange to
choose the channel, here we choose channel 02. If you choose two channels or more, the
scene will be displayed in next screen according to the numbers.

2. Blue area means recording time. When you move the mouse to the blue area there will appear the exactly time in numbers. Then you can choose the time you want and click time bar to get the recording file. Then the video will be playback automatically in the screen which you have chosen.

4.3.3 E-Map
Click the then select “Set Regional Map”, then select the Map from ur PC. The Map only support JPG file.
After selected the Map, right click the map and check the selection as follow:

Then could set the different camera on the Map site where you need. When alarm , the
camera will be flicker. Click the camera for live view as follow:
Set Sensors same as Cameras.
While, could set different regional for different place.
