products using the finest

grade of hardwoods from

North America, such as

Maple, Cherry, and

Walnut. In alliance with

leading high-end wood

craftsmen and premium

cabinetry makers in the

Northeast, these crafts-

men provide Snow River

with their recovered

smaller pieces of Select

and Better Grade of

premium hardwoods.

Therefore, Snow River

does not harvest new raw

material to manufacture

its products. Based in

Crandon, WI, Snow

River’s manufacturing

plant has a rich history,

dating back to the late

1940’s. All sawdust, a

byproduct of the manu-

facturing process, is recy-

cled into wood pellets for

pellet stoves, leaving virtu-

ally no landfill residue

from our manufacturing.

qualities for a cutting

board because of its

durability, beauty, densi-

ty, porosity and self heal-

ing properties. It’s soft

enough to guide the knife

when making cuts but

hard enough to prevent

dents. Its creamy white

color is soft on eyes and

the closed grain has a

clean contemporary look.

Maple, like most North

American Hardwoods,

has an antimicrobial ele-

ment, where bacteria will

retract away from the

surface locking into the

fibers, where they eventu-

ally die, making it the

preferred choice for the

discerning chef.
