• To score goals by shooting the ball into the goal
• For our purposes – Score by throwing and catching to a teammate across the end line (modified games: throwing and catching in endzone)
• Team- 2 teams of 7 players • Winner- team who scores
the most points• Time-2 to 30 minute halves• Start game with a throw
off (and after every goal) with each team in its half of the court
• Offense- spread out and pass the ball or take a shot on the goal; motion (get open) and screen/pick
• 3 rules- 1. Hold ball up to three seconds 2. Run with ball up to three steps 3. Make at least 3 passes prior to scoring
• Defense- guard man to man • Foul- pushing, tripping,
kicking, body checking • Free Throw- In any foul • Jump ball- simultaneous
possession • Only goal keeper in goal
area• Turnover- ball touches
ground, dropped ball, interception
• Batted ball-offensive possession
• Boundaries- stand anywhere between the sidelines and the end lines
• Out of bounds- throw in
Goal=1 point!
Unsportsmanlike conduct!
• Automatic point for the other team!
