Race 1

#3 Gizmo Flash

#1 Dad’s Missy

#2 Five Days in May

#5 Bossalina

#3 GIZMO FLASH raced wide and came up empty in her

seasonal bow on June 14. She improved significantly in

her second start last year and catches a questionable

group here. #1 DAD’S MISSY had to steady leaving the

chute and had no rally against tougher on June 13. She

strung together a few good efforts last year and may have

needed that first start. #2 FIVE DAYS IN MAY kicked off

her season two weeks ago, briefly dueling before taking

back to stalk then coming up a clear second best. She

could be the controlling speed in a race where the

potential pace is murky. #5 BOSSALINA was a non-factor

when kicking off her season against better going a mile

on the outer turf. The group she beat in her maiden win

was somewhat questionable; the drop in value is likely

warranted.

Race 2

#6 Not Orbinary

#1 Lil’s Turn

#7 Glib Marylin

#5 Lady Bella

#6 NOT ORBINARY was ridden beautifully to win her

non-three over this course on June 11. She jumps into

wide open company with a drop in value; this is a soft

group. #1 LIL’S TURN exits an easy win in a non-three

sprint at Fort Erie. She won twice around two turns at

Tampa this winter; her lone turf start at Delaware was a

deceptively good run with some trouble. #7 GLIB

MARYLIN kicked off her season at Fort Erie on June 15,

getting the widest trip in the race and just missing

second. She had a very good 2019 campaign which

included a win against wide open $7,500 company. #5

LADY BELLA had to check going into the turn on June

18, then ran on decently in the stretch. She gets in a

softer spot and should appreciate returning to a route

distance.

Race 3

#1 Ice Blue - Best Bet

#5 Dynamite Karma

#6 Blockbuster

#4 Ghost Island

#1 ICE BLUE was a bit even but didn’t perform poorly

against tougher on June 18. The drop in class and return

to a route distance should work in his favour. #5

DYNAMITE KARMA briefly made the lead but was

outfinished when facing a short field for this price on June

19. His effort two back at Tampa was forgivable as he

had a poor trip; otherwise his recent form is respectable.

#6 BLOCKBUSTER was unable to closer in a race where

foes in similar positions were able to make an impact on

the Gulfstream turf last time. He makes his first start

since February and tries the synthetic for the first time. #4

GHOST ISLAND was up late to win for this price in a

sprint on June 14; the third place finisher returned to win

at the same level with a 60 Beyer. He faced quite a bit

tougher in his route attempts last year.

Race 4

#2 Rose Ring

#4 Heart Rush

#5 Bonnie Scot

#6 Warning Belle

#2 ROSE RING faced better than this in her sole turf

start, which came at a one-turn mile. She has been off for

11 months, takes a sharp drop in class and can show the

speed to be close early. #4 HEART RUSH finished no

worse than third in seven starts last year. Although

winless over turf she is quite capable over the surface. #5

BONNIE SCOT got loose and ran about a mile,

necessitating a scratch last week. She returns for her first

start in over a year and figures to be a pace presence. #6

WARNING BELLE was able to wire a very soft group of

$8,500 non-twos around two turns in Phoenix back in

March. She was able to break her maiden in a dirt sprint

at the bottom level there; she’s questionable but may be

worth consideration at the right price.

Race 5

#1 Red Queen’s Court

#4 Pastel Emily

#7 Cedar Valley

#2 Simply a Zoomer

#1 RED QUEEN’S COURT showed speed, dueled and

was second best when returning to this price tag on June

14. She should be a pace factor once again and looks

like the one to beat based on speed figures. #4 PASTEL

EMILY did not show much in her two starts as a two year

old but was facing significantly tougher company. We’ll

see if the drop and the layoff of nearly a year wake her up

or not. #7 CEDAR VALLEY took back to stalk the duel but

was a non-threatening third in the same race Red

Queen’s Court exits. She has not run a bad race yet and

may continue to move forward with experience. #2

SIMPLY A ZOOMER debuted for $40,000 on June 14,

dueling with the eventual romping winner and emptying

out. This is a much easier assignment.

Race 6

#9 Forester’s Turn

#4 Lookinatamiracle

#7 Zoological

#8 Barilko

#9 FORESTER’S TURN was able to beat a decent group

of older optional $40,000 non-threes on June 11. He is

the only three time winner in this age-restricted dash, his

lone defeat came in a race where he was wrapped up on

in early stretch; the one to beat. #4

LOOKINATAMIRACLE was overridden out of the gate,

dueled between horses and still managed to run a

credible third in the Woodstock. Even considering his well

beaten turf effort at Gulfstream I really don’t think he has

had a poor performance to date; if he is allowed to gather

himself early this time I think he could be a serious

contender. #7 ZOOLOGICAL was primarily campaigned

on the turf last year but raced very well in his two

synthetic starts, including the route win from which he

was claimed. He showed speed in his career debuit; how

he’ll fit into the early pace is tough to figure. #8 BARILKO

had two poor performances last year; once over a

yielding course and one in a route in the Cup and Saucer.

His two other starts were very good races; he adds

blinkers and returns as a gelding for his first attempt over

the Tapeta.

Race 7

#6 Dr. Green

#5 Love of Mine

#8 Keep Your Word

#1 Lookin’ Fly

#6 DR. GREEN was likely asked a bit too early when

debuting on June 19, showing interest before flattening

out in late stretch. There is certainly potential with more

patient handling. #5 LOVE OF MINE dueled on the lead,

put the other pacesetter away then gave way in

midstretch when kicking off his season 13 days ago.

Notorious unlucky six-year old generally goes off at a

long price and should be able to win eventually, but may

be at somewhat shorter odds this time. #8 KEEP YOUR

WORD ran well in four local starts last year before being

put away in October. His speed figures are solid; if he’s

ready to go off of the bench he can be a factor. #1

LOOKIN’ FLY was able to make a rally in a race won by

an easy, lone speed type when debuting on June 7. He

draws well for the stretch out to a turf route.

Race 8

#2 Head Kitten

#4 Data Boy

#8 Wave Warning

#5 Wild About Blu

#11 Dark Ake

#2 HEAD KITTEN was just outkicked by a winter-raced,

ground saving foe on June 18. If there is a pace duel up

front he could benefit. #4 DATA BOY had a rough start,

bid in midstretch then gave way when last starting in May

of 2019. He catches a soft group for his return to the

races. #8 WAVE WARNING has not shown much on

either side of the Atlantic. He takes a sharp drop for his

first start of the season. #5 WILD ABOUT BLUE set the

pace then ran a clear second at big odds on June 7. He

may have some other speed to deal with in the form of

Stoneaway here. #11 DARK ALE has not run in about 20

months. He has shown some flashes of ability here and

there and returns to the races as a gelding.
