Brethren,
Thanks to all the Brethren that came to our March Stated Meeting. Worshipful Brother Darrell fixed
a fine meal of ham, sweet potatoes and mixed veggies. If you weren't there you missed the first 'Ugly
Hat'. The Hat Bucket raised an extra $20 for local charities. Wonder what next month's hat will
look like? You'll have to come next month to find out.....and go ahead and call one of our Brothers
that hasn't been lately and bring him with you.
Until next month,
Fraternally yours,
WM Mitch Elliott

As everyone remembers last month we
had Brother Tommy Nash present to the Lodge with an interesting way to contribute to our local charities
and putting a smile on someone's face at the same time...Mason the Bear...... Our Brothers Dustin
Grooms and Steve White along with Brother Tommy are meeting with the Cabarrus County Volunteer
Fire Department to get an idea of how many of these bears we may need...If anyone would like to help
provide bears to hand out, we are asking for a donation of $10.
Now the Chair you see pictured here is one of many which are Metal Framed, with a Padded Seat, and
folds flat for sturdy, continuous use are now for sale for the remarkable price of $15.00 each and are nor-
mally sold new for over $30.00. Please contact WB Darrell Cline (704) 791-9470….There is a Quantity
Discount !!! So be sure to ask...
A Bit of Humor .
A man is walking through the recreation ground of his local park when he notices a huge fight going
on in full fury on the football field he is passing.
"What's going on?", he asks a spectator, watching from the side-lines.
The other replies "It's a match between the Masons and the Knights of Columbus."
"What's the score?" asks the first man.
"I don't know. It's a secret."
At the Lodge...BEARS & CHAIRS
