Let’s try it together…
![Page 8: Happy Monday!](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022062221/56812dc1550346895d9300d2/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)
Let’s start to graph Mug Wump!
![Page 9: Happy Monday!](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022062221/56812dc1550346895d9300d2/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)

The points for Zug will be found from Mug’s points. The rule is (2x, 2y). What do you think this rule tells us to do to a Mug point to get a Zug point?
MULTIPLY EACH COORDINATE BY 2
Questions to think about…
![Page 11: Happy Monday!](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022062221/56812dc1550346895d9300d2/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
What do the other rules tell you to do for Lug, Bug, and Glug?
Lug: multiply the x coordinate by 3 and keep Mug’s y-coordinate the same
Bug: multiply each coordinate by 3
Glug: keep x the same and multiply the y- coordinate by 3.
Question…
![Page 12: Happy Monday!](https://reader035.vdocument.in/reader035/viewer/2022062221/56812dc1550346895d9300d2/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
Go through your table and compute the new value of the x and y for each point first.
Remember that you are always starting with Mug’s x and y coordinates.
Then, locate the points and connect them in sets as you did for Mug!
Get calculating and plotting!

Let’s see how you did on your table of values!

…and how did you do on your graphs of the characters?
Zug
Lug
Bug
Glug

Lug and Glug are IMPOSTERS!
All have: rectangular mouths and legs triangular nosesdots for eyesbodies shaped like a trapezoid
All have different: sizeperimetersareas
