In September 2000 Bob and MillieJune met when a church sponsored grouptook a 6-day bus trip to Williamsburg,Virginia. He asked her to sit with him onthe bus and enjoyed the trip together. Thenext year they were happily married atBaldwin Heights Baptist Church in Jeni-son, Michigan.

Bob enjoys playing cards and is lookingfor fellow card players. They attend theChapel Pointe Church on Baldwin St.Thank you, Bob and Millie June, for shar-ing a part of your life with us. It has beenlovely getting to know you.

in Kentucky in 1926 and Bob was born inGenesee County, Michigan in 1930. Mil-lie attended school at Rockwood, TNwhile Bob attended Flint Public Schooland Junior College. Bob served in theNavy as an Airman and is an avid aviationenthusiast. He then retired after 27 yearsas a Safety Manager for the US PostalService. Millie was blessed with 5 chil-dren: Edwina, Edward, Ray, David, &Jane. She is a Grandmother and GreatGrandmother with 8 wonderful grand-children and great grandchildren. Bob wasblessed with 3 children: Ron, Rhonda,and Cindy. He is a Grandfather to 6 won-derful grandchildren.

Besides cooking, I enjoy writing, beingoutdoors, doing home improvement proj-ects and spending time with my family. Iam the youngest of 8 kids and grew up ona farm in Hopkins. I am recently widowedafter 18 years and have 4 step kids and 3grandchildren with another on the way. Ilive in Grandville and have two cats, Fat

Cat and Louie. I have enjoyed work-

ing here with the greatstaff and residents forthe past 9 years and lookforward to many more.

My name is Beth Pavlak and most ofyou know me as the Resident Services Co-ordinator here at Sheldon Meadows. I haveworked in this position since 2011. Istarted here as a Resident Aide in 1998when I was still a student at GVSU. AfterI graduated from college I moved to Wis-consin and ran an Easter Seals camp forkids and adults with severe disabilities. Itook a break from nursing in 2002 andtook over as Manager of the kitchen, hereat Sheldon Meadows. In2005 I left SheldonMeadows and startedmy own restaurant. Myrestaurant was calledSpoons Coffeehouseand Café and was lo-
