this is dubbed ‘hard copy’ not as a pun but, on second glance, that’s what it has turned into.

the original writings are spread out along different notebooks, this is my first attempt to put them into some form of linear order.

not to mention in today’s society—if it’s not internet ready, it’s not real.. the soft copy has turned hard and the old hard copy has become obsolete.

i suppose i should start with some sort of introduction….

(imagine you are reading cliff notes to a longer, more involved book. i’m told that i talk a lot, and it takes me a while to get to the point...

so, the length of this book is my attempt to make up for my short attention span)

Page 3: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

oppression— internalized- feelings, emotions, keeping your own self down interpersonal- between people or groups institutional- systems, structures, society i just wanted to start with these different dimensions of one word.

[food for thought]

Page 4: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

first off, i don’t claim to know anything. i don’t claim to have any original ideas. i am not a writer… shit, i don’t even like to read.. the things that intrigue me the most —

what makes people do what they do why and how things are structured to work social systems of oppression (religion is included here) how we justify inhumane actions towards certain populations just

because ‘the machine’ has to keep on going… why/how does this society exist? are we too afraid of change to commit to it? equality for all—why it doesn’t exist?

for nearly the past decade, i have committed myself to experiencing life as a worker bee in a variety of occupations. the purpose was to conduct my own ‘walking’ social and behavioral science research project. to live life and experience what people experience. if i ever dreamt of the possibility of being able to communicate anything to anyone… i understood— before that’s possible i have to gain an understanding of people (modern) first hand and observe them in their natural habitat.

—if you never go through the experience you can never really know— all i can do is present you with a philosophy. my understanding of life’s events— probably not even in my words— for, i have found many people before myself who have wondered and contemplated the same topics. all i feel i can do is be the editor of my thoughts and present it in a way that’s structured/unstructured enough for anyone to understand.

Page 5: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

in the moonlit dreary sat a man, very weary then there was an eruption! an epoch of bewilderment to lie in this transient state neither here, nor there.. my existence even confuses myself to not be.. but, to be the infinite traversing of energy through space, but, there is no such thing as ‘time’ just continually continuing.. moments of chaos and moments of order are just a blur in the shadow it’s been soo long since the beginning i can’t even remember how it ends.. --------

Page 6: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

i am not a perfect person— i also think that everybody, at some point or another, feels they want to change or impact the world.

—i haven’t given up on these feelings (nor will i ever) i see a world that is ruled by the dollar or euro/yen (whatever). i see a foundation or structure that had ‘good’ intentions but was never really meant to last. especially when you have a ruling class who are always looking out for their own interests and the retaining of power. but, the above is done with such a veil that us common folk don’t even notice its happening! we are stuck worrying about making ends meet, worrying about our young, and get pulled into the cycle of slave labor. i’m not saying that we shouldn’t have jobs and work…. what i’m saying is that there should be a more even distribution of labor.

no 40hr work week more holidays more time with family/friends

these are things that should be available for everybody, not just rich people who have never worked (or who don’t work cause they did something to get a butt-load of cash). technology expands in countless directions and doubles or triples its abilities year over year with no focus. we should have technology focus on the infrastructure of society (most of the mindless jobs we have now in order to keep society going), and, that will enable us (humans) to focus on the superstructure of society (arts, philosophy, sciences). when i speak to people about these things, 99% of people agree and say how awesome that would be.. but, 99% also say that it’s impossible. it’ll never happen. people are too selfish..

they lost hope.. they got sucked into the cycle of trying to survive and keep their heads above water.

Page 7: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

money is fake. work to get money money = labor hr from the jobs i’ve had, either it was a little or a little more.. –there was a basic exchange money is not based on the value of precious metals

(i think that was nixon..) either way, even if it was.. how can one know a finite figure.. furthermore, who creates that figure or value? just a side note— {inflation has made numbers bigger over time} the stock market isn’t based in reality. buying and selling shares —like trading cards create a whimsical fantasy of interest (or ‘value’) and magically— stocks are worth more money do you ever see it? {the money} i thought the purpose of stocks was to help fund and take ownership but, mostly because “funding” was necessary to conduct business and what does that funding acquire— the things necessary for business to make products and who ends up making those products?

—at least they give you money to buy their product…. i promote a different way of life one with a different focus.. instead of working to survive we need to start working to live. if we continue down this same path of bipartisan bullshit and borders and just plain closed mindedness we’re fucked. eli~ism for a new tomorrow-

Page 8: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

—dear citizens of the world—and not to forget, those who fight to protect our ideals of freedom* (we appreciate and support the individual that is you). (even though freedom* is only a concept or illusion) are you tired of bipartisan bickering? an agenda that doesn’t care about you? it only cares about making you think it cares, but, really it’s only concerned with keeping you in place. making sure the slaves continue to do their work.. are you tired of wanting change but know “it’ll never happen,” “so, why try”? are you tired of one country putting “its” interest ahead of yours? are you tired of people pushing outdated mythology onto you? are you tired of the wars, famine, lies, and grabs for power it creates? are you fighting for the freedoms of your country or land but feel like the people in charge have their own agenda—separate from the peoples interest? do you feel like the sacrifice you’ve made is for not? do you feel you are looked at as a political tool/pawn and you have no voice cause you’ve signed that away? and upon return to civilian life you receive mixed reviews.. it’s not your fault! you were following orders trying to protect our civil liberties/freedoms* don’t worry vets and service people----we support you!---- and appreciate you as an individual. we have also noticed how you have been used and thrown away after. not getting the proper medical treatment due to whatever issue (ptsd), is unacceptable. you served us we should at the least serve you into a better state of health. be it mental and/or physical. however, i have gotten off topic----- dear citizens of the world are you really ready for a change? are you really willing to change? or, in the end are you ‘ok’ with things just cause you have a bed…….. in the end we can do nothing if we are not united!! (best way to do it in a democracy is through legislature. create petitions that enact legislation. we have to vote as one. from the lazy stoner to the most apathetic business person. from the soccer mom to the stay at home dad—who just wants the best for their kids. not to mention scientists, educators, & service people) we can be the voice that unite up against the ‘man’. promote education reform, the pursuit of science, and an end to the winless drugwar. the rich and powerful won’t be willing to give up everything so easily but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first time, create an equal playing field. not to mention—some people (rich) will have to get their hands dirty for the first time. —no more aristocracy—

Page 9: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

i’m sorry millionaires and billionaires and other people who consider themselves “well off” (i’m not really sorry..).

however, living in a plutocracy has killed the distant memory and ‘concept’ of democracy.

(plutocracy* is a government by the wealthy-webster.com). the rich bleeding the poor dry the rich, getting richer without getting their hands ‘dirty’… —the only stain on those hands is the blood, sweat, and tears coming from us. we are the people who live paycheck to paycheck we are the people who sleep on the sidewalks we are the people who provide service and are looked down upon. we are the people who keep businesses going we are the people who care for your children—while leaving ours at home.. we are the slaves to a paycheck we are your public servants we are the people tricked into believing that politicians care about us. we pay the taxes and then watch the top few percent and big businesses get away without paying a dime. you can only keep us down for so long.. eventually, we will understand that YOU are not necessary and that we can live and reach a higher plateau for humanity without your special interests!

the goal—

to transition from slavery, past the concept of a utopia, to a future that is focused on humanitarianism, sciences, the arts, philosophy, and the overall progress of our species.

we must first learn to work together and not let the dogmas of our past keep us from this simple fact— underneath the color of our skin, aside from our mother/fatherland, apart from our religious or lack of those beliefs, we are made up of the same chromosomes and molecules and building blocks of dna. from the richest of the rich to the poorest of the poor —cut us and blood will run.

Page 10: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

what is eli~ism? eli~ism is the belief that education and science are the #1 priority. humanitarianism supersedes state & religion. democracy is dead and plutocracy killed it. religion is a means of control (divide and conquer) a way to keep people down (stupid) and in their place. i do not believe that a few rich people exploiting the labor of many helps anybody… it only benefits the few slave owners and keeps the laborer (slave) in their place—struggling to survive, forgetting about their dreams of a better life, instead, people are swallowed into the cycle with the main focus of making ends meet/survival. i believe in causality. i do not believe in the prison institution. i do not believe in big businesses pursuing their private agendas. lobbyists buying government officials to pursue special interests (that do not belong to the people). i am not a democrat and i hate republicans! i try not to perpetuate dualities. good and evil are words that have meanings and definitions that are relative to the person perceiving the situation. in my society there is no room for people who kill innocent people. there is no room for sexual predators. there is no room for bullying. i also believe that with a focus in education we will be able to achieve better forms of alternative energy. i also believe that hemp paper would be better for the environment than deforestation (i like breathing) there is no oil in the abyss of space, so therefore it should be our goal to create a form of energy that is sustainable even in the reaches of space— i’m a fan of magnetism. i believe that the only possible way of attaining this, is to overhaul the educational system and teach our kids a new way of thinking. we are already lost but that doesn’t mean we should screw over our future generations. if we continue on this same path (science vs. mythology) it will only lead to the destruction of our species (to fulfill the self-fulfilling prophecy of apocalypse). here’s an interesting question and answer.. do you know how to change somebody’s mind? there is this zen saying (on the subject){not verbatim}

it is impossible to change the mind of someone the only thing you can do is teach the kids a new thinking and then wait for the old people to die off…

Page 11: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

people are blind (stupid), self absorbed and disconnected.

ruled by our wanting separated by our ideals with no common focus

torn by borders

told what people want us to believe

what is the truth? what makes it so?… and whose truth?

your truth is different from my truth

—but, can we understand why

what is the dogma that rules you? is it “God” or science?

keep your theocracy out of my democracy!

Page 12: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

i am not a perfect person. i struggle with the concept of infallibility continuously.. only to be reminded that i am human. human—— an interesting concept it’s hard for me to embrace this reality.

—still i must— typically i try not to associate myself with the concept of humanity.. to me, usually when i think of humans, all i can think of is selfish, scattered, no focus, wasteful, & money matters more than society. i try to promote a different way of life with a different focus. instead of what can society do for me.. —what can i do to better society? instead of continually using resources (virgin) how can we get more bang for our buck? instead of borders and secrecy, not to mention trying to bring ‘civilization’ to the ‘third world’ —how about we unite as humans and focus our efforts towards progress instead of worrying about a self-fulfilling prophecy of biblical armageddon… [just sayin] i am not perfect, nor is my way of seeing life. understanding that fact lets me alter my beliefs based on an ever changing world (of science). it’s when you get stuck in your ways that you can not realistically see change as possible.

understanding that as long as we believe change is possible— the portal is open

—only as a whole can we walk through— some of us though, are too stuck in this cycle to even consider change as a possibility! it’s not your fault though… you didn’t create this society —you are merely trying to survive in it. but, when ‘surviving’ means working a dead end job for more hours than you’re willing to admit… —just to live paycheck to paycheck— sorry to break it to you but, that’s not surviving… that’s living in slavery! the fruits of many enjoyed by few the few never really get dirty, but, the many never really become clean

Page 13: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

no private land no private schools

education is the highest priority the goal of the education system should be to

progress the sciences, math, medical sciences, and the arts (agriculture and botany too!)

mega/super structures for housing everyone working towards a common goal all countries united no such thing as money how can you come to a point where society is ‘ready’ for change? who has to be on your side? what needs to happen after a ‘transition of power’?

keep the people fed what are the new rules to this society?

no killing no sexual abuse of any kind

(for starters…) no jails education is the top priority but, we need to teach kids— it’s about the betterment of society not money and power. emphasis on physics, sciences, and math (don’t forget stem cell research) just threw that one in there for science’s sake the concept of union’s seems like a good structure to mouthpiece different aspects in society. military? oh yes, but, of course a change in perception and focus. also, as a society we must accept and understand that religion has been used as a tool of control by ‘the man’ (ruling class) & blind faith is a path to destruction (think of lemmings/cliff) i am also opposed to the concept of marriage. i believe it’s an archaic act and ritual rooted with religion. plus!, i don’t believe that i need someone to tell me i’m committed to my partner. we already knew where we were after ‘the talk’ (but ask me about my funny marriage story…) anyhow, i look at marriage as a mistake but i believe that everybody should be able to make it no politicians working for lobbyists instead of the people

no more plutocracy

Page 14: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

in america, communism is a bad word what i want is something more than communism.

i view communism as an incomplete theory

Page 15: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

no boarders thing.

(embracing america’s imperialistic roots!) all these politicians talk about “spreading democracy” to other nations, in an effort to help modernize them… but, every time “we” go into other countries –promoting democracy— changing a regime, telling people what “our interest” are, and try to promote shit…

—we fuck it up. people get pissed, and somebody’s always mad at us…

anyways, that’s besides the point.. america has a history and as a brown person—i should know this.. let me remind you of a little thing called manifest destiny— anyhow, back then the idea was

—hey, why not?... we have this great idea and it should be enjoyed from this end, to this end

(over simplified and not mentioning ‘God, blah, blah, blah’)

but, as it turns out down the road.. working together to promote an idea (freedom/democracy) has worked out but then we created a border and closed out other countries leaving the world in the dust…. nationalism creates division which leads to —trying to service our interests all i’m saying is that we should just put an open invitation to come join the party. cause together we can accomplish things separate we just tear each other down at the knees i’m not calling for a united states of america i’m calling for a united states of earth.

Page 16: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

ok. (take a breathe) try to think for a moment. clear your mind. imagine that you had never heard of a thing called religion.. never heard of a thing called christianity…. you enter a building—

and all the chairs are facing this one person who is telling everyone that one day

a man is going to come from the sky and take us away to a better place…

well.. i’m sorry, but to me, that sorta sounds like a cult… (don’t drink the kool aid and watch out for halley’s comet) sometimes i think to myself (about the possible origins of religion) and i wonder.. what if —way back in caveman days—

there were these 2 cavemen (maybe even cavewomyn!)

maybe even a group, but, one of them fell over and died..

not knowing what happened

they needed a way to deal with it a way to understand/deal with the concept of mortality

religion is born.. & over time, it changes.. man changes it to suit his needs over time… religion becomes a means of control [by fear] cause when it comes down to it.. (death) at first thought, is the unknown and the unknown is always scary at first… sometimes i think to myself about death and i wonder..

what if when i die BAM it’s 1983 all over again…(year i was born) each time i go round i try to reach perfect knowledge every time you’ve had déjà vu— it was really a glance into your last time around

Page 17: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

there is this zen koan/saying about life imagine that life is like a waterfall.. before the waterfall, it’s all one body of water during the fall, it’s all individual droplets

after the fall, it’s all one body of water again ---------------- when i grew up i used to like to look at the sun (not for too long…). not cause it was a bright light in the sky.. but, there was something about it that made me feel comfortable (maybe it was just basking in the warmth i dunno. but it has always stuck with me) in my later years i started saying that it made me feel closer to home.. not in the sense that i came from the sun (that would be crazy!;) but i felt the sun was like energy— a metaphor or reality

in a state of bewilderment, i gaze.. i gaze not at the immediate interrupters of my surroundings

but, yet i gaze even further..

into the flow of the surpassing energy that is beheld

and even beyond the boundaries of self and life.

and it is in this energy that i find everything and nothing, and i am left still and quiet

neither happy nor sad

neither wanting nor concern

i just am

later, science told me there was only one constant and that was energy—it just changed forms, but is always energy. now, i associate energy with life and with life as a waterfall.. (would you like to know the meaning of life?) life is an experience meant to be had— look any deeper and you’ll just get lost and miss the point life is precious & we should enjoy every moment cause, just like the waterfall, it’s fleeting..

Page 18: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

exclusivist religious ideologies do the exact same as let’s say the crazy straight-edge vegan type…(both are just examples of extremist but not the only ones) —viewing the world through blinders and building barriers between people, not even letting yourself get to know them… you only ‘know’ that they are wrong this kind of behavior segregates and ostracizes you from otherwise awesome people. it happens though, everyday. from organized/community groups to family members. people not interacting because of personal beliefs systems. (i should know having created my own personal belief system.. it offended people at first and i doubt it’ll stop anytime soon) i try to be more than civil and continue working at that.

Page 19: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

when i look at religion —i take a step back—

i try to think about what’s really being talked about. what really is the message being told/passed forward? what are people really taking away from these interactions?

when i was born my parents were catholic when i turned seven my parents became ‘crazy christians’ (non denominational evangelical/born again) when i turned twelve— i like to call that when i gained consciousness i started questioning things and started coming up with my own understandings of the world and what not. i wanted to know what happened between jesus and the present existence of time.

i found out a whole lot of shit. —to put it mildly—

the bible not being put together or written until a few hundred years after jesus died. the christian crusades converting pagans—(what/where your holidays really come from) destroying the history of whole civilizations and cultures not to mention the genocide but, what do people get out of it now? from what i can tell

a sense of community the belief that ‘things happen for a reason’ (god’s plan) the idea that we are not responsible for our bad actions

(the devil made me do it) i can just ask for god to forgive me.. we are born imperfect there is something more powerful than yourself, so you must obey it’s ok for other people to do bad things cause god will punish them in

the afterlife.

—the afterlife— do what i say! and when you die…. blah, blah, blah…

you bought it hook, line, and sinker… but it’s not your fault. you were taught this or brought up in this without prior knowledge to the world or life. how could you know? you trusted your parents word and they trusted theirs and so on.. but, this was before there was such a thing as scientific method. earthquakes weren’t plate tectonics.. they were the gods wrath.

Page 20: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

religion has had its place in time and space but now it’s time to leave the stone age behind and embrace our future. it’s not about domination of male over female, white over (insert color here), christian vs. muslim vs. atheist. it’s about this simple fact

—we are all human and need to work together in order to move forward. if we’re not moving forward, we are stuck in the past and will end up like the dinosaurs. extinct.

most religions spread the fear of doomsday or the end of the world.. (not to mention a horrible afterlife) i think if people believe in that soo much it eventually will become a self-fulfilling prophecy. but one must be really narcissistic to believe ‘the world will end or we are going to destroy the earth—’ reason being the earth will keep going with or without us. our fragile life supporting ecosystem may become uninhabitable for our species but—life will find a way for something else. but if we enjoy a planet where we can live, breathe, eat, drink & have sexytime!, i suggest that we listen to scientists and follow the suggestions of scientific method. “god’s” not going to come down and save you/take you away to a better place…

remember you have to die first (just ask heavens gate)!

religion is a way of control and a way to keep people in their place (keep the man (womyn) down)

Page 21: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

religion…. what role does religion play? where did it come from? when did it come from? how are we controlled by it? is it a crutch? is it an addiction? is it a coping mechanism? how different are religions? is there a similar message between them? is it possible that ancient civilizations were visited by aliens? what is religious pluralism/exclusivism?

the “highlander” approach— there can be only one… what about consciousness, or sleep, or connectedness (between people/everything) what about foresight or seeing into the future (time travelling/dimension hopping)

—is it like string theory but, someone being able to tap into the string?

what about death? —is that the real origin of religion? (or are misinterpreted space travelers to blame for religion..)

Page 22: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

religion…. who benefits —who really benefits? a means of power a means of control a crutch a place to find community

don’t let the man get you down i don’t agree with the notion of being ‘born imperfect’ or ‘original sin’ i just see that as a way to keep you, or try to keep you down. instead of being forced to believe ‘that you are weak and you need a higher power’ [just so you know this is a bully’s way of setting up a power grab], —take ownership —the ‘real’ power comes from within you substituting one addiction for another is not fixing the problem. you also have to give yourself credit, cause it was you who believed in you! imperialism in not the answer (in concept of religion or generally) i like to promote ‘religious pluralism’ (religious pluralism in america, hutchison- is a great book just fyi) i believe all religions have a golden thread of commonality. i appreciate zen buddhism parts of christianity quantum physics and the mythologies in the old days religion was used to help explain: ‘the world and everything in it’ (i have a special appreciation for norse mythology- they knew the earth was round in their mythologies)

Page 23: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

eventually societies progressed —as did our knowledge of the ‘world and things’

and so mainstream ‘religions’ turned into—mythologies (currently happening to christianity)

how do aliens or extra terrestrials come into play? —will we ever know? is religion a morality code or, is it just a way for ‘us’ to justify not doing ‘certain’ things and (by whose standard are you living to. can you really trace it back or are you just taking someone’s word for it…) “they are going to hell for that” “’god’ will judge them” “i’m not going to do it, cause i have a higher reward” says who?

a con artist

—someone who wants you to be sheep… (i’ll say it was a nice way to trick you into behaving how they want)

[by the way, the current concept of hell didn’t arise until the middle ages..] before that it was just a separation from ‘god’, no fire and brimstone. i try not to believe in/perpetuate dualities i don’t believe in good or bad i don’t believe in free will i believe in causality i do not believe in capitalism i believe communism is an incomplete theory i don’t believe in ‘what can i get out of it’ i try to think how everybody can benefit

Page 24: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

separation of church and state. this is always a hott issue. however, we usually only hear about how the government is ‘taking away the churches rights’ or how ‘the government is trying to push [its] ideas onto us’… the thing that i find interesting is how we never hear people calling out the church on blatant interference with the state (maybe cause it gets hushed or doesn’t matter cause it’s only a womyn’s body). i’m amazed how the church is viewed as a non-profit and is able to be a tax free enterprise. i’m not sure if you live under a rock but churches are like franchises.. they start in one place and then expand to a new community and fully thrust themselves into network marketing. outreach, flyers, bands, skits, peddling their ideology of ‘salvation’. [salvation is big business] (billion $ industry i think..) but, whose salvation? where does it originate? where is the scientific method to support it? [some religions stem from a time ‘before’ scientific method] just putting it out there—just cause your book dominated the past centuries doesn’t mean it’s correct. it just means that the people backing your book killed and suppressed a lot of other people and their truths. a lot of history has been erased and will never be seen again churches having their congregations vote based on pamphlets distributed by the clergy the pamphlets are focused on the dogma of their religion and which candidate holds to specific values (voting wise). they are urged to vote for the candidate who supports ‘their beliefs’ best. this brings theocracy into democracy— infringes on the separation between church and state. the ruling elite have a niche—the poor masses who cling to old ways of viewing the world thru religion* (*religion which coincidentally the ruling class has owned since the beginning)

this is also the anti-science campaign

Page 25: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

—as long as politicians pander towards dogma/ appeal to ‘key issues’

‘special interests’ will be over looked and as long as society and science are separated

the people will be split

as long as the factions of the people (poor/middleclass/science/religion)

are fighting each other they won’t be able to unite and take control

or even realize they are being controlled and if some people oppose the views of the elite ruling class

*just brand them as ‘ungodly’ and put some devil horns on a pic of them —that usually works

this is partly why i’ll probably, eventually, be dubbed the anti-christ. *then we can let the people have their self-fulfilling prophecy and continue down the path of total destruction. fuck the earth. who cares? ‘god’s’ coming to take us to heaven anyways! in reality, that’s not going to happen… p.s. i love living on a planet that is habitable, air i can breathe, sexytime, and temperatures that are always perfect! (hey, i grew up in california) but without acknowledging science and causality or taking ownership of our actions, we’re kinda screwed… when it comes down to it —taking ownership of our actions is huge not only taking ownership of the negative actions but also the positive ones! believe in yourself, the world has knocked you down your whole life—trying to keep you in place. live with the knowledge that you are more than that. you put the hard work into what you do don’t be afraid to give yourself credit

cause in the end, if you would’ve stopped, nobody but yourself could’ve made you keep going

Page 26: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

i believe in science. i promote a world without politicians i would rather have a council of scientists whose focus is the progress and preservation of our species people who don’t believe in ‘god’ but believe science and knowledge as a way of understanding the world around us. taking ownership of ‘our’ actions and not blaming something else as having power over us. we have to understand that it was ‘us’ the whole time. and that we were afraid… we were afraid of not knowing—

what happens to us when our short life is over focusing on that, rather than enjoying all the time we actually have. being selfish, only worrying about us and our end via doomsday, or nuclear winter

—never batting an eye for our future generations, just consuming resources with no end.

the transition from primitive society ruled by fear and greed to a more advanced civilization no more corrupt politicians who pander to the ideas of oppression and greed, rather than promoting things that actually matter! like energy that uses no resources (i’m still a fan of magnetism) scientists and common man must unite we must realize that education reformation is the first step towards change. make sure the legislature knows that we care about education and science (put the billions spent on the win-less drug war towards science & education!)

Page 27: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

But, in a land ruled by law: in order to effect change, you must first learn the language being spoken i don’t support a lot of movements that just gather to protest and march.. (that doesn’t do anything), unless, you have all those people signing petitions.. in reality, if you’re not effecting the legislature, it doesn’t mean shit! plus—who pay’s for all the police overtime? who pay’s to clean up the streets and the overall mess created? your tax dollars the rich don’t even pay taxes so, you’re kinda screwing the pooch on that one… i know that my future is in law— i believe the change i want to effect requires a politician whose ‘special interest’ are the people as a whole & i will strive to be that person now that my retirement is over, the journey begins—

Page 28: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

who am i & my retirement my retirement…

it’s a funny concept for someone to understand (especially for someone who thinks of life an linear*)

this is how things go!

you’re not old enough to be retired! how can you do this?

do you collect ssi? receive a pension?

are you rich? you’re not really retired! how is this possible?!?!

i don’t believe that just because i’m told

—this is how things are, and this is how ‘you’re’ supposed to approach life that i should go about it that way.. i didn’t agree to define it that way nor did i receive a rule book at birth that said this is this and that is that.

it’s not my dogma —i don’t agree with many things that our current civilization focuses on. just because i define my words differently than you’re used to, doesn’t make me wrong. it just makes my way of viewing things different from yours. people are interesting to me. i care about the questions- what matters to you, what is the goal of your existence, and what do you want to accomplish? i don’t care about ‘the focus’ of making money to move up the social ladder, trying to get things to increase ones status, and i also don’t agree that “ ‘god’ _______” i promote science and education-reform as top priorities! i believe science and community are worth more than they are given credit i believe people who are ruled by their religion rather than the reality of life around them, both—

hold us back as a society and create a false sense of fear and inferiority (not to mention the control factor and the willingness to be sheep).

blind faith is a path to destruction, just think of lemmings falling off a cliff… as i considered myself to be conducting a ‘walking’ social and behavioral science experiment—while enjoying my retirement at the same time— the definition of working to make money wasn’t my truth. rather, i considered it being paid to conduct my own social research project and enable me to fund my retired life. enjoy life while i was young enough to enjoy it (live the dream). also understanding that i will work the rest of my life towards my goal —even if just to make a dent.

Page 29: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

one of my goals during my awesome time in retirement was to work random different jobs and to experience life as a ‘normal person’. the jobs i’ve had—meat cutter, university service advocate (service learning dept.), information desk @ a random convention in san jose, an independent movie theatre, experienced picking in the fields, a mainstream theatre, wfm bakery tm, adt promotions rep (that sucked), flag football ref. for an adult sports league, wfm prep foods tm, lunch lady, housekeeping @ the seattle tennis club, french bakery prep action (with a little barista action). i have worked in a lot of different places with a lot of different people served a number of random groups of people from poor to rich, healthy to fat, a number of different skin colors, age groups, other genders, religious backgrounds, and sexual orientations (i’m still upset about prop 8). --------------- everyone stuck in their own world—

briefly interacting with others —others they ‘choose’ to ignore or ‘not see’ one thing i appreciate having worked so many different positions —is being that person that is ignored— it forces you to notice and appreciate the job that is being done you’re not as messy and carefree as you once were. there is a face and a person (who has a life)

who will be providing you with ‘guest service’ i always say please and thank you and look them in the eye— because i know they are human too. stuck in the same cycle of trying to make ends meet and survive —with the hope of being able to enjoy things— but, sometimes (more like all the time) when you’re poor —you can’t afford to do all or any of the things you’d like.. and that’s a shitty reality. these are the people who keep the infrastructure of society going harvest the food you eat run the movie you go see cook you that meal in your restaurant the people who get stepped on and forgotten.. don’t give them health care… that’ll cost us too much!--------

Page 30: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

okay… so, i’ve been ‘retired’ for the last seven or eight years…

i have been ‘living the dream’ i did have a ‘come out of retirement package’

it included me surveying the last group of people i thought were important the military

all of my friends/family thought i was crazy and didn’t want me to do it (i didn’t care if there was a war going on) i felt i had to; nothing they said mattered.

i knew i was going to enlist and after i did my time,

i was going to go back to school and become a scholarly source albeit i never set a specific timeline

or a date that this package would happen.. i just knew it would

and when it was time, it would happen

i started my retirement somewhere around 2004 in december of 2008 i moved to seattle..

why seattle you might ask?

for the weather. well, not really…

i had been living in the monterey area for almost 8yrs

it was beautiful. but my partner graduated

and she wanted to pursue her graduate degree at uw something in public health.

her coming from a small northern california town, once she tasted

big city life (she did a year at a nyc school) she couldn’t live in a small town again.

(and that’s what monterey was)

so, after graduating she wanted to move.. she is pretty awEsome

so i said i’ll support her (not monetarily) and take the adventure with her i always knew that eventually i would leave monterey

but i never knew how it would happen.

and there it was, happening. in december of 2008 i had my first interaction with city level snow

(and seasons for that matter) not to mention that year was the worst snow experience seattle had seen

in 20yrs—so the locals tell me.

Page 31: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

but, 2008 was a rough year with the economy pooping out and all. i was working @ whole foods market at the time and tried to get a transfer

before i moved, but they had just initiated a hiring freeze.

so there i was living in a new place, jobless, cold, and when morgan was at work, alone…

kinda depressing… then we adopted a cat and she helped me make it through the winter..

after looking for a job, any job, and not really finding anything

i thought—am i being forced out of retirement? i thought the answer was yes…

so i quit smoking (the reefer) so i could pass a piss test

i wanted to go into the marines

mostly because i wanted to experience the grunt, nothing pansy, non-officer, common person experience.

but,

as it turns out—the marines wouldn’t take me. reason being—i have a tattoo behind my left ear/neck area.. they said that they were still conservative in that regard.

so i figured the next best overall branch

would be the army in the infantry.

the army approved of me having that tattoo and all seemed good.

i just had to wait for a law read.

i passed all my tests, did well on the asvab.. i just had to wait..

[about the purpose of my law read]

—i’ve only been in trouble with university police (@csumb) in october of 2002 i believe is when it happened.

i was arrested for a-

dui/drugs alcohol (i blew .05 but, under 21/zero tolerance) dui/drugs alcohol (since they found a tiny nugglet in ash try)

possession of marijuana (^^)& lying to a cop

the lying part was because i didn’t know i had anything in the car.

i thought i had smoked it all earlier in the day.. mind you that this arrest happened without me being pulled over…

Page 32: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

what?!?! you may ask

yea..

let’s just say that when it went to court, due to illegal procedure (by the cops)

i ended up having a dry and reckless with no alcohol charge on my record took a class and got the possession charge taken off as well.

i was given 3yrs informal probation

so, back to the other story…..

if you know anything about the army, you know that it takes the forever to do anything..

and this i found out.

i had been waiting and waiting weeks turned to months

i could no longer survive without a job (it had been 4/5 months-and no unemployment support*)

at that same moment in time and space

the hiring freeze had been lifted at whole foods and i got a phone call asking if i wanted a job

after being jobless for 4 or 5 months

i jumped at the offer (even though it was in a dept. that i had vowed never to work in & a five

dollar pay cut..) i didn’t care cause some money was better than no money about two weeks after this i finally received a phone call

from my recruiter..

he said- i was cleared and good to go. at this point i let him know that i just got a job

and would not be going in at this time (i couldn’t wait another month+ to receive my first check)

he said- that’s ok. and let me know that my tests would be good for 2yrs

after almost being forced out of retirement

i now had a date in which it would end.

now, here’s where it gets exciting and where i begin to hate obama (& the war on drugs)…

Page 33: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

it’s now december and the 2yr mark is february..

i commence stopping the reefer and started running more consistently, doing pushups, getting back in shape, and start my dialogue with the

recruiter.

i then find out that in the course of those 2yrs the obama administration had a change in policy

in regards— (to the continuation of a prohibition which i believe is stupid) new policy stated that if you had been caught with

as little as an empty pipe ‘this constituted drug trafficking’

bitches!

seeing how i had (over 8yrs ago) been caught up with a little nugglet, i was now not allowed to serve in the military.

i was crushed.

it sucked! my come out of retirement package had taken a major hit.

i was now no longer able to study the last group of people/experience something that i felt was important.

all of my friends were happy that i wasn’t going to be going to the military,

but i was bummed.

i am now currently in a limbo position.. heading into my last winter in seattle

with plans of moving back to the motherland (california) santa cruz to be more specific.

that way i can be closer to my gma for a while before we end up in san diego (bastyr for morgan-plans anyways)

i am going to jump back onto the school train,

but will have to wait till i’m back in cali

and since my retirement is about done,

now is when i start putting my thoughts onto paper and begin my quest of writing a book

(which will be amazing and groundbreaking)

a future in law school (to learn the language) a hopeful senator

(make sure the words of change at least hit the floor running)

Page 34: hardcopy: (the prequel) · but, if we take the power away from them (make money equal nothing) maybe at that point we will be freed from wage slavery and at that point, for the first

maybe even future president with the goal of education reformation (#1 priority)

but, really high up there is creating a council of scientists who have a say over congress.

politics has been stained by greed, power, and religion..

special interests get special attention the planet gets put on the backburner the people get put on the backburner

if science and people who care about the progress

of our species and knowledge are given a say —should their voice not be heard?

i would suggest changing the executive branch

or adding another branch of power equal to that of the supreme court (no life long appointments either)

it would also have the power to override congress in matters that involve science or matters of the people that are affected by science

a council of scientists

(for comic book nerds- just like krypton’s council sort-of)

these are only a fragment of my philosophies and barely touch the skins surface on topics. as a prequel, the focus was merely to get the idea out there to people who—like myself— have short attention spans. i do plan a more involved piece of literature when i can consider myself a scholarly source. the title (of scholarly source) will help some people swallow what i’m saying a little easier. (and realistically, have you ever tried to write an involved groundbreaking piece of literature while having to work 40+ hrs a week just to scrape by?) i just hope that if anything is taken from reading these words, it is: science is real, life is precious, and we all need to work together —not against each other— if we want to survive as a species. eli~ism for a new tomorrow newproletariat.org @eli_ism on twitter

life is a cake filled with so many layers from the moment of your birth to the moment of your death you are filled with layers upon layers of life experience everything that you go through and endure makes you who you are at this moment in time/perception a rich life is full of ideas and experiences where as the bland cake is skewed with only one way of thought it tries to perceive infiniteness while wearing blinders. -------- believe in science, it’s not a religion. eli~ism for a new tomorrow newproletariat.org @eli_ism on twitter
