VORTEX continues expansion… POLYMASTER follows

We are honored that the number of deliveries of the newest VORTEXⅢ 870 model has reached more than 1,000 machines, in more than 100 factories.We would like to express our gratitude to our customers, partners and everyone else who helped us reach this milestone so quickly.Also growing rapidly is our new POLYMASTER device. POLYMASTER was introduced a few years ago. Since its showing last November at ITMA2015 in Milan, our confidence in this system has soared.Although originally introduced as the solution for spinning only 100% polyester, POLYMASTER is now also being used to spin polyester / viscose blends and dope dyed fibers.Almost 20% of the VORTEXⅢ 870 models are equipped with

POLYMASTER. Some customers are calling for a POLYMASTER modification to also make it compatible with VORTEX 861.Interest from fiber producers has also been favorable resulting in collaboration between Muratec and fiber manufacturers.Muratec looks forward to an October unveiling at ITMA ASIA + CITME2016 which promises to go beyond any prior developments resulting from consultations with fiber manufacturers.

POLYMASTER :POLYMASTER adds a tiny amount of special oil, from a storage tank behind the machine, to the VORTEX air. In particular, this device solves problems specific to 100% polyester or high polyester blend spinning.

POLYMASTER, more versatile than expected– Advantages even with polyester / viscose blends –

With almost three hundred POLYMASTER units delivered, the device is in use in customer's plants worldwide. This allows continued development while simultaneously receiving customer feedback.Originally, POLYMASTER was designed for only 100% polyester. But, with the help of our customers, we found that as with polyes-ter, POLYMASTER allows higher spinning speeds for some polyester blends, such as poly / viscose, without a loss of yarn quality. (Graph 1 and 2).

Another case is seen in dope-dyed fiber use. POLYMASTER reduces the extra cleaning necessary when spinning solution dyed fibers (Table 3 and 4).

We have not yet explored every possibility that POLYMASTER may offer, but we feel that there is still much potential in this unique device. We will continue to work with our partners as we move forward.

DTG 2016The 13th Dhaka Int'l Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition

in Dhaka, BANGLADESH

Muratec exhibited at “DTG2016,” which is the largest textile & garment machinery exhibition in Bangladesh. It was held from January 28 to 31.Presenting in an independent booth for the first time, we exhibited the automatic winder “PROCESS CONER Ⅱ QPRO Plus” with one spindle and VORTEX yarn and fabric samples. The Bangledeshi market is currently very active.Over the four day exhibition, about 38,000 visitors attended the event, which was more than last year. Even though it was our first independent booth, our exhibition was enthusiastically received by more than 300 customers from 120 companies. In particular, a demonstration of the QPRO Plus in operation was well-received by many customers due to Plus items, such as the upper yarn sensor.During the exhibition, we signed contracts for automatic winders. Inquiries for the VORTEX spinning system have also increased.We will continue to be active in this market so that we can expand our opportuni-ties to meet with more potential customers.

in Istanbul, TURKEY

Muratec exhibited at the “Istanbul Yarn Fair” which was held in Istanbul, Turkey from February 4 to 6.Although recent investments in the Turkish market have been stagnant, the exhibition itself was active with many companies exhibiting fancy yarns and new technologies. At our booth, we exhibited samples of VORTEX yarns, fabrics, and finished products made from various materials. Apparel and knitting/weaving companies visited our booth and experienced firsthand the clear appearance and less hairiness that are features of VORTEX yarns.VORTEX users also displayed exhibits in their booths, emphasizing the advantages of VORTEX yarns. This provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange of information.We will continue our marketing activities in this way, by concentrating our efforts on raising the awareness of VORTEX. We will actively conduct surveys, and specifi-cally target companies which convert yarns or fabrics.

We held a seminar on the VORTEX spinning system “VORTEXⅢ 870” and automatic winder “PROCESS CONER Ⅱ QPRO Plus” in Islamabad on February 10 and in Karachi on February 16.Even though it was our first seminar in Islamabad and second in Karachi, both seminars surpassed our expectations with about 40 customers in attendance.In particular, with 2-inch fiber spinning now a possibility, many customers showed an interest in the VORTEX spinning system for the purpose of making ethnic wear. Questions, answers and opinions were actively exchanged, resulting in fruitful seminars at both locations.

The “International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference” was held in Tokyo from January 27 to 29. There we introduced a new carbon nanotube (CNT) spinning technology, which we developed using our decades of experience in spinning systems.We exhibited samples of CNT yarns/wires, and cable samples of CNT yarns twisted together with several copper wires, to propose applications for CNT technology. Muratec was the focus of attention from electric wire-related business and other enterprises.Many visitors were surprised that spinning yarns from CNT was possible. Muratec will continue to develop and establish the basic spinning technology, and raise market awareness of CNT spinning and spun yarns.
