    www.hartwick.edu/music Audition/interviewFirst, fill out the Common Application to the College.

    Use the music website to fill out the online form. We willwork with your family to coordinate a campus visit andarrange your formal audition and interview with ourresident artists and faculty.

    Audition and InterviewAn audition and interview are required for a B.S. or B.A. inmusic. This process allows us to get better acquainted, inaddition to examining your potential beyond musicality.

    This interview entails a theory and aural skills examina-tion, questions on your general interest and knowledge ofthe field, and how we can develop your career beyond yourdegree.See the website for specifics on how to prepare and whatrepertoire is acceptable. Once your audition and interview

    are complete, you will be sent an official letter with thedepartments decision.
