InstructionsPumpkinWith A of your choice, ch 11 (13, 17). Row 1 (RS): Sc in second ch from hook, sc in each ch across, turn—10 (12, 16) sc. Row 2: Ch 1, sc in 2 sc, 2 sc in each of next 6 (8, 12) sc, sc in next 2 sc, turn—16 (20, 28) sc. Row 3: Ch 1, sc in blo of next 15 (19, 27) sc, turn. Row 4: Ch 1, sc in next 14 (18, 26) sc, turn. Row 5: Ch 1, sc in blo of next 13 (17, 25) sc, turn. Row 6: Ch 1, sc in next 12 (16, 24) sc, turn. Row 7: Ch 1, sc in blo of next 11 (15, 23) sc, turn. Row 8: Ch 1, sc in next 10 (14, 22) sc, turn. With B, ch 4, sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 6 sc in ring, sl st in first sc

to join.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, sl st in

first sc to join.

Rep last rnd 2 (3, 4) more times.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail.

Finishing

With tail, sew beg edge and final row

of pumpkin together. Then, making

sure RS is facing, whipstitch around

opening at base of pumpkin and pull

snug to close bottom. Gently stuff

pumpkin with fiberfill.

With a length of A, whipstitch around

opening at top of pumpkin and pull

snug to close top, make a few stitches

through the center top to the center

bottom, and pull tight slightly to

help top and bottom dimple in.

Sew stem to top of pumpkin. Weave

in ends.
