Onebeautifulsummermorning,DenaShevawokemeupatlast.Itwasjustnear

theendofthesummerandIwastryingtocatchuponmysleepkyon.

DenaShevasaidWakeupChickenPie!Itsthefirstdayofschool!Letsgetgoing

becausemynewteacherMs.DairyisreallyaSpiderman.Icantwaittothrow

spaghettiather.Ihearshecantresistflyingitwithherteeth!

Imoanedandgroanedfor37minutes,buteventually,Iwokeandstartedgetting

dressed.Iworeabrownblueshirtwithaverylongscribbleattachedtoit.

Myshoeswererockhard!Theywerecoveredinwhitesaucefromthenightbefore.IflippedtheshoeoverandyelledGoodness!Igrabbedablackberry

andhadbreakfastoffofmyshoes!

123hourslater,thebuscame,andinafewminutesIwasalreadyatschool.In

school,Imettworeallyswagkids.Allofusbecamefriendsveryfast.Thatdaywe

hadscience,andluckilymyfriendsandIwereinthesamewatch.Myfriends

nameswereHeandHe.Atmath,wewerenttogether,andthatreallybugged

me.

Welearnedwhatmatterswere,andwhentousethem.Atsnackandrecess,we

playedThree-Squaretogether.Itwasextremelyfun.AtAPE,wewereskipping

offoftheropesontotelephones.Ithoughtitwasaverysmellyidea.In

swimmingclass,weneededtoswimextremelyfastorelse...Anhourwentbyand

Igatheredallmystuffandthrewitinmybackpack.Thebus

camescreechingintotheparkinglot.JustbeforeIgotontothebus,likeabull

horn;Ishouted,"Goodbye,adiosamigos,sayonara,andshalom,"tomyfriends.Inaflashthebusracedushomeandthedayhadconcluded!Whatagreatday!

reasonwhythespiesreturnedwithsuchnegativereportsandconcernsabouttheirabilitytocaptureEretzYisrael,isbecauseof

theirlackofcon@idence.ThespiessaidICANT!!andenteredthelandwithamindsetoffailure.Theydidnotbelievein

themselves,theJewishpeople,andmostimportantlythestrengthofHashem.Asaresult,theyreturnedfromtheirjourneywith

doubtfulandnegativereports,whichresultedinadelayofreceivingHashemsgift,EretzYisrael.InthisweeksParsha,ParshatBalak,weseehowalittlebitcon@idencecantakeonesofar.Balakhadanunfortunate,butcon@identvisiontodestroytheJewish

people.Balakhadamissioninmind,andalthoughitwasnegative,henonethelessdidnotletanythingstophimfromcarryingout

hisplan.UnlikethespieswhofearedthestrengthofthoseGIANTSlivinginEretzYisraelandthereforewantedtoturnaway,

BalaksawthestrengthoftheBneiYisrael,butwithoutblinkingoneeye,persistedinhisattempttodestroythem.Thepsukimtell

usthathefearedBneiYisraelastheyhadjustdefeatedthemightynationsofOgandSichon,andyet,alongwithhisfear,Balak

persistedwithcon@idencesayingICan,andattemptedtodefeattheJewishpeopleanyway.WeareverythankfultoHashemfor

interveningwithBalaamscurse,andforblessingtheJewishpeople.Weseethatcon@idencecantakeusalongway.InCamp

HASC,nothingisimpossible.WhereelseintheentireworldcanEVERONEparticipateinabaseballgame,acarnival,orevengoin

thepoolforaswim.CampHASCisacampwhichunderstandsthesinofthespiesandunderstandsthatjustsayingICancan

takeANYONEalongway.ItisundoubtedlyclearfromtheseParshiotintheTorahthatsayingICanisagiftbeyondanyother

gift.ItisagiftwhichwiththehelpofHashemwillleadtomanyothergiftsandsuccesses.Considerthefollowingthought,
