Vintage has become fashionable and therefore going to your local charity shop is no longer something to feel embarrassed about. Not only that, charity shops are now internet savvy so you can visit an online charity shop without even leaving your living room! Here are some top reasons to buy from charity shops this Christmas…

1. The Christmas Spirit

Buying your Christmas presents from a charity shop could not be more in line with the Christmas spirit!

Not only are you helping the charity in question, which is of course the most important factor to consider - you are also giving that teddy bear, handbag, whatever it may be an new a rebirth with a new owner – all say awww to the teddy bears…

2. Saving Money

There are loads of gifts for under a tenner at charity shops, here are just a few ideas:

1. Pictures – there are always great pictures that can be re-framed if necessary

2. Books – you can get so many books for a tenner you could by a library!

3. Ornaments – there are always hidden gems just watch out for them

4. Scarfs / Hats – It’s the time of year for it!

5. Frames – get a good frame and fill it with pics of your family or friends

Vintage is now cool… fact. So much so main fashion stores are trying to create the second-hand/vintage look! So buy your girlfriend, mother or auntie a vintage handbag, shoes or

When you buy Christmas gifts from charity shops you don’t know what you are going to find and you are more likely to buy something that is unique and one of a kind.
