TRANSCRIPT
Tonight is a celebration. A celebration of all those we love andhave loved in our lives.
“Tuesdays With Morrie”, the play, is based on the book by Mitch Albom. The book became a bestseller and changed millions of lives. In fact …..it changed mine.
It’s the true story about Mitch, a career driven journalist, and his college professor Morrie Schwartz. After losing touch for 16 years,Mitch happens to catch Morrie’s appearance on a national news program and learns Morrie is battling Lou Gerhigs Disease. They were reconnected and thus began the final class Morrie taught. The subject… The Meaning of Life.
Filled with humor and tears, this is truly a celebration of life and the human spirit.
As Morrie put it… “when you learn how to die, you learn how to live”.
I invite you keep an open heart tonight as we laugh and cry together.
Enjoy,
