    HAVE YOU EVER VISITED TO AREQUIPA?

     Arequipa is the most beautiful city of Peru, that’s the reason because you have to

    know it.

    Our visit starting to main square where we see the Cathedral of neoclassic style

    made completely !"##A$% &volcanic rock' and after we can see the PO$(A#!

    made of sillar and granite with a name different each one for e)ample* +lores

    portal, !an Agustin Portal and Culture portal.

     After we can visit our old houses in the down town its different styles and materials.

     Also the different churches as* (he company of esus, !an Agustin, !anto

    -omingo, #a erced, etc.

     Arequipa has several tradition as* la pelea de toros, las chacareras, las lecheras,

    pelea de gallos, entre otras.

     Also we have to go to typical restaurant in Arequipa called P"CA/(0$"A!% where

    eating dishes as* rocoto relleno, pastel de papa,etc.

    !ome tourist places of Arequipa are*

    • LA BASILICA CATHEDRAL OF AREQUIPA, where we can visit the two 1ewels of the city of arequipa2 the belgian organ and the pulpit of frenchorigin made in l3ile by a famous french artist busines rigot.

    • LA IGLESIA DE LA COMPAÑÍA DE JESÚS &the church of 1esus’ company'

    a beautiful church with an impressive frontage of half4caste, baroque style,here we can find elements of native and european decoration, where wecan interpret the iconography of this epoch.

    • LA CÚPULA DE SAN IGNACIO DE LOYOLA Y LOS CLAUSTROS DE LACOMPAÑÍA &the dome of san ignacio de loyola and the cloisters of thecompany', in this dome we see a polychrome decoration made with naturaldyes and see a beautiful painting of bernado vitti, &artist 1esuit' thatrepresents san ignacio of loyola in the storta. inside the church we canappreciate the works of another interesting artist 4 diego portales2 it ispresumed that he was a pupil of pedro pablo rubens in europe. diegoportale painted pictures such as 1esus’ entry to 1erusalem and the lastsupper2 in the middle of the table you can see andean elements as a guineapig.
