SUCCESS

No one dreamt of failing or failure. Everybody wants to succeed and fulfill their dreams. Many have given their all and tried everything to pursue and achieve their dreams. Others have reached it but still were not happy and others have not reached it and remained defeated. What does it really mean to be successful? I believe success is both well being of the soul, body and spirit. They say health is wealth. Others have earned much in their golden years but could not enjoy it because of poor health and of age. Therefore, success and true happiness is found in the Lords blessings. He can give us both health and wealth. Wow! Truly you can enjoy life if we only follow Gods way of achieving success.

PR 10:22 It is the blessing of the LORD that makes rich,

And He adds no sorrow to it.

If you are a child of God and have entered the Kingdom of God you already stepped in into success. For the Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Rom 14:17. You have been redeemed from the kingdom of darkness where sicknesses, failures, poverty, curse and sin dwell. You have been transferred by God into the Kingdom of His Son where there is life, abundant life and righteousness. Col 1:13, Jn 10:10.

As being citizens of the Kingdom of God there are laws (His word) and life (in the Spirit) that we are to walk by in faith. The word of God teaches us how to live in the Kingdom of God on earth. The Spirit of God leads His children. Rom 8:14. In the Kingdom we become priests and kings. And we serve our King and the King blesses His servants. You must see and view things in the eyes of our King. Believe things how our King wants and directs us to believe.

In this life there could be some bumpy roads ahead, failures along the way, tribulations on the other side BUT none of these can derail us from achieving our goals. Remember His Word will lead us through. His Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Ps 119:105. And greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. 1Jn 4:4.

We are going through some scriptures where we can build upon our road to SUCCESS for there is no other firm foundation and anchor than the Word of God.

STEADFAST FAITH

When you stop believing you stop living. Even in the world today successful people never stop believing. They believe they can achieve what they want in life. The word believe has changed many in the world. If you believe that you can do it you will never stop trying, doing your best, being the best and hoping for the best. Nothing is more stable than a steady and steadfast faith in God who is the Maker of and Giver of all things. Man can receive nothing except it is given from heaven above. So your faith is directed to God and His Word.

Faith in His Word and Promises

What you believe makes a lot and big difference.

2CO 1:20 For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

JAS 1:17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

HEB 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

HEB 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned by God about things not yet seen, in reverence prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became an heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

HEB 11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed by going out to a place which he was to receive for an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was going.

HEB 11:9 By faith he lived as an alien in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise;

HEB 11:10 for he was looking for the city which has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

HEB 11:11 By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.

God is not pleased with unbelief. What could have happened if Noah did not believe God and not build the Ark? They could all have perished and died in the flood. What if Abraham stayed with his relatives and in his own land? What if Sarah Abrahams wife did not believe God? She could not be given the ability to conceive considering her old age. There could not be an Isaac, Jacob or Joseph. There could not be a nation Israel who brought the humanity of Jesus. God could have chosen others in their place who would believe Him.

With faith and by believing the promises of God you shall be given the ability to achieve that promise of God. God will enable you to do it. Remember God is the Blesser and the Rewarder of those who believe Him.

In reaching our goal on earth remember that these are given because God is with us and by faith we fulfill His desires and our prayers answered in our lives. It is not right that you fail on earth knowing that your end is with God in His Paradise.

HEB 11:16 But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.

So while we are here on earth we can do great things for Him and with Him. HAVE THAT UNWAVERING FAITH.

HEB 11:32 And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets,

HEB 11:33 who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions,

HEB 11:34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.

HEB 11:35 Women received back their dead by resurrection; and others were tortured, not accepting their release, so that they might obtain a better resurrection;

Therefore to perceive struggles, pains, tribulations, troubles as defeat or failure is not correct. With such conditions by faith we can conquer and overcome them. 1Jn 5:4. God will bring deliverance. Do not loose heart by these but have faith. Therefore set your minds on the promises of God and His word.

1JN 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the worldour faith.

Faith and Confession

What you say may happen.

Did you know that bible say that you are what you think? Prov 23:7. You also become what you think of yourself and things around you become as you influence them. What is in your mind you will speak it out because that is what you believe. Before we are in the Kingdom of God we speak negative things, evil words, lies, failures and things that do not build up others. Now that you are in the Kingdom you should speak Gods will in your life. He said that He knows His plans for us. Plans to prosper and give hope. Jer 29:11. Therefore, speak life and blessing to yourself, to your family, to your business and to your ministry.

MT 17:20 And He *said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

If you have faith, you will say and it will

Faith and confession go together. You cant say something that you dont firmly believe. Jesus said from the bottom of mans heart the mouth speaks. Mt 15:18. What is in your heart? What do you believe? Unless you firmly believe and settle in your heart that what God says about you is true and will happen you can not say it truthfully. So it boils down to reeducating ourselves and changing our mindset with the Word of God. Jesus said, If you have faith. Say it. and it will happen.

To succeed always confess right things to yourself and to others. Think and say what God thinks and says about you. If things do not go right with you dont think that its over. Dont say its over. Dont think Gods words are not working but rather God said speak the other way around. Turn your fate by faith in God and speaking that word of faith.

There is power in words. There is more power in words spoken in and by faith. You can change everything around you by believing what you say. And say it. In the Kingdom of God we should learn to walk and speak the truth. We are conquerors and victorious with Him. 1Cor 15:57. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Phil 4:13.

Do you want to do and achieve something? Say it.

Do you want to change something? Say it.

Do you want success? Say it.

OBEDIENT HEART

God sees our hearts. Whats in our hearts are very important to God. Have you decided to obey God to the fullest? Have you surrendered everything in you to God that all His will be done in your life? Jesus said, Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Mt 6:10. Whenever a sinner repents on earth there is feasting in heaven. Lk 15:7. A changed and repentant heart can do wonders in your lives. When you have set in your hearts to follow God things do change in the spiritual realm. Doors are being opened. Blessings are coming in. The Father said to Jesus, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Mk 1:11. Why? Because Jesus always did what the Father wanted. Jesus obeyed the Father. And we as His children ought to obey God our Father.

Keep His Commandments

MK 1:11 and a voice came out of the heavens: You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.

JN 6:38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

JN 14:31 but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me. Get up, let us go from here.

We are Gods obedient children. 1Pet 1:2. We are no longer children of disobedience. Eph 2:2. Jesus said, If we keep His commandments, ask anything in His name He will do it. We are kept in the love and care of God.

If we keep His commandments His love rests in us and He hears us.

JN 14:13 Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

JN 14:14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

JN 14:15 If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

JN 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.

JN 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.

JN 16:23 In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.

JN 16:24 Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

JN 16:25 These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; an hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but will tell you plainly of the Father.

JN 16:26 In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I will request of the Father on your behalf;

JN 16:27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came forth from the Father.

1JN 3:18 Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

1JN 3:19 We will know by this that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart before Him

1JN 3:20 in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and knows all things.

1JN 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;

1JN 3:22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.

1JN 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

1JN 5:15 And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.

COMMITTED TITHING

After we had faith in God and His words and have come to follow Him and kept His commandments He blesses us. And after God has blessed us we should give Him back the glory by returning to Him. There is nothing more sweet aroma to God when His children have offered their lives and their substance back to God. Our tithes and offerings are given for the work of the Lord and for the need of the saints. God is pleased with our support for the work of the Kingdom and help for the saints. God loves a cheerful and faithful giver. There are those who teach that tithing in not taught in the New Testament but only under the Law. But the bible taught us that before the Law Abraham and Jacob paid and offered their tithes by faith to the Lord because the Lord gave.

Tithing is returning to God. He gave and we return.

TRUTH ON TITHES

It is the Lords

LEV 27:30 Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S; it is holy to the LORD.

Return Back to God for He gave

Abraham

GE 14:8 And the king of Sodom and the king of Gomorrah and the king of Admah and the king of Zeboiim and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar) came out; and they arrayed for battle against them in the valley of Siddim,

GE 14:9 against Chedorlaomer king of Elam and Tidal king of Goiim and Amraphel king of Shinar and Arioch king of Ellasarfour kings against five.

GE 14:10 Now the valley of Siddim was full of tar pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and they fell into them. But those who survived fled to the hill country.

GE 14:11 Then they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food supply, and departed.

GE 14:12 They also took Lot, Abrams nephew, and his possessions and departed, for he was living in Sodom.

GE 14:13 Then a fugitive came and told Abram the Hebrew. Now he was living by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner, and these were allies with Abram.

GE 14:14 When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he led out his trained men, born in his house, three hundred and eighteen, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.

GE 14:15 He divided his forces against them by night, he and his servants, and defeated them, and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus.

GE 14:16 He brought back all the goods, and also brought back his relative Lot with his possessions, and also the women, and the people.

GE 14:17 Then after his return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the valley of Shaveh (that is, the Kings Valley).

GE 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High.

GE 14:19 He blessed him and said,

Blessed be Abram of God Most High,

Possessor of heaven and earth;

GE 14:20 And blessed be God Most High,

Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.

He gave him a tenth of all.

Jacob

GE 28:13 And behold, the LORD stood above it and said, I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your descendants.

GE 28:14 Your descendants will also be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and in you and in your descendants shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

GE 28:15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.

GE 28:16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely the LORD is in this place, and I did not know it.

GE 28:17 He was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

GE 28:18 So Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on its top.

GE 28:19 He called the name of that place Bethel; however, previously the name of the city had been Luz.

GE 28:20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, If God will be with me and will keep me on this journey that I take, and will give me food to eat and garments to wear,

GE 28:21 and I return to my fathers house in safety, then the LORD will be my God.

GE 28:22 This stone, which I have set up as a pillar, will be Gods house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.

He will rebuke the Devourer and pour blessings

MAL 3:6 For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

MAL 3:7 From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you, says the LORD of hosts. But you say, How shall we return?

MAL 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, How have we robbed You? In tithes and offerings.

MAL 3:9 You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you!

MAL 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.

MAL 3:11 Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes, says the LORD of hosts.

MAL 3:12 All the nations will call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land, says the LORD of hosts.

DT 8:18 But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Purpose of Tithes

Support for the work and workers of the Lord

NU 18:21 To the sons of Levi, behold, I have given all the tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service which they perform, the service of the tent of meeting.

1CO 9:6 Or do only Barnabas and I not have a right to refrain from working?

1CO 9:7 Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat the fruit of it? Or who tends a flock and does not use the milk of the flock?

1CO 9:8 I am not speaking these things according to human judgment, am I? Or does not the Law also say these things?

1CO 9:9 For it is written in the Law of Moses, YOU SHALL NOT MUZZLE THE OX WHILE HE IS THRESHING. God is not concerned about oxen, is He?

1CO 9:10 Or is He speaking altogether for our sake? Yes, for our sake it was written, because the plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher to thresh in hope of sharing the crops.

1CO 9:11 If we sowed spiritual things in you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?

1CO 9:12 If others share the right over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this right, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

1CO 9:13 Do you not know that those who perform sacred services eat the food of the temple, and those who attend regularly to the altar have their share from the altar?

1CO 9:14 So also the Lord directed those who proclaim the gospel to get their living from the gospel.

GAL 6:6 The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.

MT 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

MT 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

MT 10:9 Do not acquire gold, or silver, or copper for your money belts,

MT 10:10 or a bag for your journey, or even two coats, or sandals, or a staff; for the worker is worthy of his support.

Temple Needs

2CH 24:4 Now it came about after this that Joash decided to restore the house of the LORD.

2CH 24:5 He gathered the priests and Levites and said to them, Go out to the cities of Judah and collect money from all Israel to repair the house of your God annually, and you shall do the matter quickly. But the Levites did not act quickly.

2CH 24:6 So the king summoned Jehoiada the chief priest and said to him, Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and from Jerusalem the levy fixed by Moses the servant of the LORD on the congregation of Israel for the tent of the testimony?

2CH 24:7 For the sons of the wicked Athaliah had broken into the house of God and even used the holy things of the house of the LORD for the Baals.

2CH 24:8 So the king commanded, and they made a chest and set it outside by the gate of the house of the LORD.

2CH 24:9 They made a proclamation in Judah and Jerusalem to bring to the LORD the levy fixed by Moses the servant of God on Israel in the wilderness.

2CH 24:10 All the officers and all the people rejoiced and brought in their levies and dropped them into the chest until they had finished.

2CH 24:11 It came about whenever the chest was brought in to the kings officer by the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, then the kings scribe and the chief priests officer would come, empty the chest, take it, and return it to its place. Thus they did daily and collected much money.

2CH 24:12 The king and Jehoiada gave it to those who did the work of the service of the house of the LORD; and they hired masons and carpenters to restore the house of the LORD, and also workers in iron and bronze to repair the house of the LORD.

2CH 24:13 So the workmen labored, and the repair work progressed in their hands, and they restored the house of God according to its specifications and strengthened it.

2CH 24:14 When they had finished, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada; and it was made into utensils for the house of the LORD, utensils for the service and the burnt offering, and pans and utensils of gold and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the LORD continually all the days of Jehoiada.

TRUTH ON OFFERINGS

Offerings for the poor saints are collected to meet their needs

1CO 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so do you also.

1CO 16:2 On the first day of every week each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come.

1CO 16:3 When I arrive, whomever you may approve, I will send them with letters to carry your gift to Jerusalem;

2CO 8:14 at this present time your abundance being a supply for their need, so that their abundance also may become a supply for your need, that there may be equality;

2CO 8:15 as it is written, HE WHO gathered MUCH DID NOT HAVE TOO MUCH, AND HE WHO gathered LITTLE HAD NO LACK.

2CO 9:1 For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints;

2CO 9:5 So I thought it necessary to urge the brethren that they would go on ahead to you and arrange beforehand your previously promised bountiful gift, so that the same would be ready as a bountiful gift and not affected by covetousness.

2CO 9:6 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

2CO 9:7 Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

2CO 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;

2CO 9:9 as it is written,

HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR,

HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER.

2CO 9:10 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and

multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your

righteousness;

2CO 9:11 you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is

producing thanksgiving to God.

2CO 9:12 For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.

AC 2:42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

AC 2:43 Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.

AC 2:44 And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common;

AC 2:45 and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.

LK 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measurepressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.

To really succeed in life one has to have a steadfast faith, an obedient heart and a committed tithing!

These are the Keys to have a successful life amidst this troubled and unstable world. God can prosper you wherever you are and in whatever situation. He wanted us to have eternal life and an abundant life. God wants His children to have and possessed a steadfast and unwavering faith, confess and speak the truth in faith and walk by faith. If we keep His commandments God the Father and His Son will love us and make their abode in us. Anything we ask in His Name He will hear us. God is the Provider and the Giver. We should honor Him and return what is due Him. He shall rebuke the Devourer and pour His blessings to us were there will not be room enough to receive it.

Glory be to God the Highest!
