Honorable Mentions
Sadly we were not able to visit all our favorite places. But if you have time these stores and/or services are worth checking out:
Keep It Local!: Save at stores that participate in the Keep It Local! initiative, which aims to enhance the quality of life in Oklahoma by supporting the locally-owned and operated businesses that make Oklahoma great. Cards cost $10, and can be bought online or at any of the vendors listed on their website.
Blue Sage Studio: Glass artisans that make everything from ornaments, to light fixtures and drawer pulls. They are part of the Urban Art collective. Check them out and watch them blow glass right there on location.
t, an urban teahouse: Located near Blue 7, this mom and pop operation houses an impressive collection of teas and treats. And the space feels perfect for conversations shared over a pot of Chai, Oolong, or Earl Breakfast.
