HAWAII’S SUPER VOLCANO The eruption of the Kilauea volcano on the American Big Island of Hawaii, has been spewing more than molten lava and ash. It has also been putting out 15,000 tons of 'vog,' - volcanic fog, every day. Lava bubbling to the surface from Hawaii’s awesome volcano is the hottest and most fluid it’s been since it erupted in early May. Rivers of molten lava have flowed across the state. The lava covered a stretch of land eight miles long, and half a mile wide. The government ordered residents to evacuate before all escape routes would be blocked. Lava from the volcano was hot - at least 2,140O Fahrenheit. As well as Lava, there was volcanic ash, and so far, 600 homes have been smothered and destroyed. Hawaii has also experienced about 500 earthquakes since early May. The 2100-degree lava was flowing into a molten red river running 9 miles from the fissure (long crack or cleavage in the volcano) into the ocean at Kapoho. The transition into a fast-paced lava flow was moving about 200 yards per hour. THE POSSIBILITY OF A MASSIVE TSUNAMI

The Hawaii volcano, or a similar volcano elsewhere, along with accompanying earthquakes, could cause a massive tsunami 1,000 feet

high that could sweep through the nearby islands and even reach the US coastland or other Pacific shores. And there are thousands of volcanos around the world. 90% of them are under the sea. Worldwide, there’s an estimated 1,500 volcanos potentially active. 169 of them are in the US. 500 have erupted – many of them in the Pacific rim - the Ring of Fire. And there are some monsters, such as a . . . NEWLY-DISCOVERED GIANT UNDER SEA VOLCANO The super-huge volcano has been named, Tamu Masif. The volcano which is the size of New Mexico or the British Isles, has been identified under the Pacific Ocean, about 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) east of Japan. It is the biggest volcano on Earth and one of the biggest in the solar system. Tamu Massif i a rounded dome that measures about 280 x 400 miles (450 x 650 kilometers), or more than 100,000 square miles. Its top lies about 6,500 feet (about 2,000 meters) below the ocean surface, while the base extends down to about 4 miles (6.4 kilometers) deep. Tamu Massif dwarfs the largest active volcano on Earth, Mauna Loa in Hawaii, which measures about 2,000 square miles (5,200 square kilometers). Made of basalt (a dark rock), Tamu Massif is the oldest and largest feature of an oceanic plateau called the Shatsky Rise in the north-western Pacific Ocean. The total area of the rise is similar to Japan or California. Scientists have concluded that Tamu Massif was created from a single volcano. The volcano went “extinct,” meaning inactive, shortly after it formed. HOW MANY VOLCANOES ARE THERE IN THE WORLD? There are probably thousands of volcanoes that have been active during the lifespan of the earth. During the past 6-7 millenniums since the Garden of Eden, about 1,500 on land volcanoes are known to have been active, while a larger number of submarine (under water) volcanoes may have also been active.

There are about 600 volcanoes that have had known eruptions during recorded history, while about 50-70 volcanoes are active each year. At any given time, there is an average of about 20 volcanoes that are erupting. At the same time as the Hawaii eruption, another major volcano exploded in the central American state of Guatemala. GUATEMALA VOLCANO RAVAGED ENTIRE FAMILIES JUNE 2018. ESCUINTLA, GUATEMALA. A woman named Lilian, told the names of her aunts, uncles, cousins, her grandmother and two great- grandchildren — 36 family members in all — missing and presumed dead in the explosion of Guatemala’s Volcano of Fire. Two days after the eruption, the terrain was still too hot in many places for rescue crews to search for bodies or survivors. And it was increasingly unlikely, with each passing day, that any more would be found alive. “The doomed people ended up buried in nearly 3 meters of lava,” Ortiz said. “Nobody is left there.” The fast-moving flows with temperatures as high as 1,300 degrees Fahrenheit (700 Celsius), and hot ash and volcanic gases that can cause rapid asphyxiation, caught many off guard. As dawn broke the volcano continued to rattle with what Guatemala’s Volcanology Institute said, were eight to ten moderate eruptions per hour — much less intense than Sunday’s big blasts. At least 110 died as a result of thick ash and dirt as the Fuego volcano swallowed up communities. 18 JUNE 2018. At least 197 were still missing after the violent eruptions began two weeks earlier, according to disaster agency CONRED. The Fuego volcano, whose name means “Fire” in Spanish, is emitting four or five minor explosions each day and shooting columns of ash up to 4,700 meters above sea level, CONRED said. Escuintla is operating 12 shelters for nearly 2,800 people displaced from homes that were swallowed by ash and dirt, while more than 770 people are staying in shelters in nearby areas. Some survivors lost nearly all members of extended families after

the volcano sent fast- moving currents of dust, lava and gas down its slopes in its greatest eruption in four decades. ISRAEL RUSHES AID TEAM HELP In Guatemala’s Fuego volcano, over 100 people, including whole families perished in Homes and cars were buried under tons of volcanic ash and magma mud. 190 people are still missing - many may have been entombed by molten lava and ash that covered their own homes. This is the picture of a devastated Guatemala reeling in the aftermath of the worst volcanic eruption in over a century. Israel, which is quick to come to assist in various disasters — tsunamis, earthquakes, fires, etc., rushed a team to aid the rescue work. (At about the same time Israel also sent a team to Thailand to help in the search and recovery of the team of boys who were stranded deep inside a series of flooded caves.) Now, let’s look at these . . . BIBLICAL PROPHECIES MICAH 1:3-4 “Look, YHWH is coming out from His place. He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. The mountains will melt under Him, and the valleys will be split apart, like wax before the fire, like waters poured down a steep place.” REVELATION 8:8-9 “The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a GREAT MOUNTAIN BLAZING WITH FIRE was hurled into the sea; and a third of the sea turned into blood; and a third of the living creatures in the sea died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.” We cannot say that the volcanic eruptions in Hawaii and Gautemala are a fulfilment of those prophecies, but we can see them as severe warnings of things to come. Revelation 8 takes place during the Great Tribulation which is getting closer every day. Y’shua the Messiah said:

“There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and upon earth despair among nations, with perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men's hearts will faint from terror, being apprehensive of what is coming upon the world; for the very powers of the heavens will be shaken. “Then will they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, straighten yourselves and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:25-28) Let’s now look at some of the many other events that can be included in “these things.” THE MIDDLE EAST UNPRECEDENTED STEPS TO ESTABLISH A NEW ECONOMIC ALLIANCE The US, along with Israel and Saudi Arabia, have joined with Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain and the Emi tes, in s eking to implement the Ultimate Deal that President Trump and Jared Kushner have planned — to bring some normalcy to the M. E. Recently Benjamin Netanyahu met with the King of Jordan. The King then went to the US for talks with Donald Trump. A Sunni Muslim, Salman’s great concern and effort is to crush his Shi’ite enemy, Iranwho has been using its Houthi allies to create havoc in Yemen, and from there, to fire missiles onto Riyard the Saudi capital. The Saudis are relying on Israel’s help and technology in the war against Iran. Egypt’s president, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s co-operation is essential to the success of the new Economic Peace Plan. President Trump’s Ultimate Deal is a major break away from the Middle East Peace proposals of the last several US administrations which called for Israel to make con- cessions as an appeasement, and a means of making peace with the Palestinians and the Arab world. “Make peace with the Palestinians first, and then make good relations with other Arab states.” Trump is convinced that that strategy will never work as the Palestinians are not interested in living alongside the Jewish State. So Trump’s plan is to promote a financial and economic peace in the entire region – a peace

that will bring prosperity to all concerned - and hopefully to cause the Palestinians to be more flexible. Although details of the “Ultimate Deal” have not yet been released, some strategic moves are now in view. ABDEL AL-SISI 'THE US IS NO LONGER TALKING ABOUT ISRAELI CONCESSIONS' The United States is no longer pressing the Israeli government to offer concessions or ‘symbolic gestures’ to the Palestinian Authority. This is in stark contrast with past US administrations. For decades both Republican and Democratic administrations have pressured Israel to relinquish territory in Judea, Samaria, and even Jerusalem, in favour of a future Palestinian state. During the Obama administration, the White House demanded unilateral “good-will gestures” from Israel as a pre-condition to talks with the Palestinian Authority, including the freezing of all construction projects in Israeli towns in Judea and Samaria. Now, however, the US has dropped “concessions and gestures” from its dialogue with Israeli leaders regarding final status talks with the PA. The Americans are trying to feel out where they might be flexible, but all the signals are that, for the time being, there is no reason to talk about things like concessions, so long as the Palestinians refuse to join the talks. And it does not look like they are interested at all, in talking with the US. The US has now taken a piecemeal approach to the region, looking to solve individual, humanitarian and economic problems in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza - outside of the context of a final status agreement. THE ULTIMATE DEAL The Palestinian leadership continues to boycott the Trump Administration, refusing to meet with Kushner during his high profile meetings with Arab leadership in the region.

Jared Kushner had an interview with Palestinian media following meetings in the region in June. He spoke of the failures of the PA leadership and Abbas. “This conflict has held the whole region back.” But Jared said the peace deal will be revealed soon. The US has worked closely with Israeli leaders in an effort to improve the living conditions of Gazans in the Hamas-ruled enclave. And to help solve the desperate Gazan conditions, the US has initiated three main plans to aid the Gazans; (1) The opening of a SEAPORT IN NEARBY CYPRUS for Palestinian trade. The Cypriot rulers are evidently willing for this plan. (2) AN ALTERNATIVE RAIL TRACK Israel is also planning to build a train track from Haifa, (on Israel’s Mediterranean coast), through Israel, the West Bank, Jordan, and dow into Saudi Arabia. This will connect Europe and Israel to Saudi Arabia, and thus provide a new track that will bypass the Iranian-controlled sea channels such as the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, and Gulf of Oman. (3) The US and Saudi Arabia will invest billions of dollars in creating an industrial area for the Gazans to work and live better lives – in the Egyptian territory of the Sinai. This will create an international effort that will bring prosperity for the Palestinians. That’s the ambitious plan to prosper the Palestinians and much of the Middle East. It all sounds good — to reasonable minds. The Palestinian leaders however, are not impressed. They are, in fact, in a state of shock. Their plan, like that of the Iranian ayatollahs, is to destroy Israel’ not to live with or near them. The new “alliance of nations” will seek to reason with the Palestinians (in Gaza and in the West Bank) and to encourage them to embrace an econom- ical peace and prosperity; and forget about fighting over borders, but to opt instead for a better future. If the Palestinians still say “no” they will be saying no to the US, to the Saudis, the Jordanians, the Egyptians, Emirates and the other Arabs in the new alliance. They will have lost their support from much of the Middle

East nations. Then the only allies for the Palestinians, will be the deeply- divided and cash-strapped Turkey, and Iran. THE INITIATIVE TO LINK HAIFA BY RAIL TO JORDAN, AND SAUDI ARABIA JUNE 28. The initiative Israel is promoting, is being called, “Tracks for Regional Peace.” It aims at creating a regional transportation network that will promote peace and boost trade by allowing goods to be shipped to Europe from Haifa, bypassing war-torn Syria. Israeli Transportation Minister Israel Katz said: “Beyond its contribution to Israel’s economy, the initiative will connect Israel economically and politically to the region and will consolidate the pragmatic camp in the region.” 1. The plan has two central components: “Israel as a land bridge between Europe and the Mediterranean and Jordan; and, 2. Jordan as a regional transportation hub, will be connected to a railroad system to Israel and the Mediterranean in the west; to Saudi Arabia, the Gulf states and Iraq in the east and southeast; nd to the Red Sea, through Aqaba and Eilat, in the south.” After reaching an agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week, Katz is set to advance the plan in consultations with the United States, European Union, and various countries in the Middle East and Asia. Israel expects the US to play an important role in implementing the plan. At a time when regional instability is threatening passage ways through the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf and the Bab al-Mandab Strait at the southern end of the Red Sea, the Israeli initiative is said to offer shorter, cheaper, and safer trade routes in the region. CYPRUS CONSIDERING ISRAELI REQUEST FOR GAZA PORT Cyprus is considering an Israeli proposal to co-create a port and shipping route for the Gaza Strip in order to assist its humanitarian crisis. The port and shipping route is to be jointly created and managed by Cyprus and Israel. The port would assist Gaza’s humanitarian crisis and could lead to the release of IDF soldiers’ remains held by Hamas.

Reports of a sea route and port resurfaced earlier this week following Israel’s Defence Minister Avigdor Lieberman’s recent talks with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades, which centred on the creation of the port and sea route. THE MIDDLE EAST PEACE PLAN TO BE REVEALED “SOON” The Trump Administration announced it would soon reveal its Middle East peace plan following meetings with regional officials in Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. In addressing his meetings, Kushner criticized the Palestinian leadership, mainly President Mahmoud Abbas, because of his failures to his people, and fail- ure to work with Israel or the Trump Administration. “President Abbas has his talking points which have not changed in the last 25 years. There has been no peace deal achieved in that time. To make a deal both sides will have to take a leap and meet somewhere between their stated positions. I am not sure President Abbas has the ability to do that,” Kushner said. He highlighted the “countless mistakes and missed opportunities over the years, and because of you, (Abbas), the Palestinian people, have paid the price.” Kushner reiterated “The global community is getting frustrated with the Palestinian leadership and with not seeing many actions that are constructive towards achieving peace.” While Kushner did not give details on the peace plan, he confirmed that, “The actual details of the deal are between the Israelis and the Palestinians, but the economic plan we are working on, will extend to the Jordanian and Egyptian people as well. He added “This conflict has held the whole region back, but there is so much untapped potential that can be released, if peace is achieved.” NETANYAHU MEETS BIN SALMAN FOR FIRST TIME Reports tell of a secret meeting between Netanyahu and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman - the new progressive Ruler of Saudi Arabia in Jordan - on the sidelines during his talks with Jordan’s King

Abdullah II on 25 June. Secret co-operation and contacts between Saudi Arabia and Israel have been reported numerous times over the past two years. Israel expects the US to play an important role in implementing the plan, and in the consultations with the United States and the European Union, and with various countries in the Middle East and Asia. At a time when regional instability is threatening passage ways through the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf and the Bab al-Mandab Strait at the southern end of the Red Sea, the Israeli initiative is said to offer shorter, cheaper, and safer trade routes in the region. PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY REJECTS ISRAELI - U.S IDEAS OF HELPING GAZA The Palestinian leadership continues to boycott the Trump Administration, refusing to meet with Kushner during his high profile meetings with Arab leadership in the region. JUNE 28. The Palestinian Authority expressed fear that the talk about easing restrictions and improving the living conditions of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip was part of an Israeli-American “conspiracy” to transform the Palestinian cause into a “humanitarian issue,” and to deepen the festering split between Gaza and the Fatah regime in the West Bank. They also claimed that the US and the Israeli governments were now talking about a way of “undermining the Palestinian national project, including the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state.” IS THE PEACE DEAL GOING ANYWHERE ? DOUBTS AS TO WHETHER IT WILL SUCCEED! Some observers say Kushner and Greenblatt got exactly nowhere in their bid to sell the US peace plan to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar and Israel. The Trump team was told by most of

the “allies” that the US plan was unrealistic and ill-timed. They all insisted that with the region in turmoil, now is not the right time to discuss the peace proposal’s clauses in detail, and advised shelving it for a future date. 1. Extreme opposition came, of course, from Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority, even though they were not included in the present discussions. 2. The Arab rulers visited by Kushner and Greenblatt, were opposed to it, for their own reasons. They all warned that if the plan was published at this time, they would be obliged to line up against it and support Abbas. 3. The Egyptian president, Al-Sisi, on whom hopes were pinned for the Gaza rehabilitation program, said he would not even hear of this “Sinai solution.” The two Americans then cut their plan down to the establishment of industrial zones in northern Sinai as a source of jobs and an economic miracle for Gazans. That too was rejected. Al-Sisi refused to consider the building of a single Arab Palestinian factory or project on Egyptian soil in northern Sinai. The only thing he was willing to look at was expanding the El Arish power station with US funding for supplementing electric power to the Gaza Strip. 4. In any case, the two US envoys found all the Middle East rulers they approached, deeply immersed in more pressing problems: Saudi Prince Muhammad is deeply involved in a military operation to defeat the Iranian-backed Houthi insurgency in Yemen, along with the UAE crown prince. Sheikh Tamim al Thani of Qatar is busy feuding with Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Abdullah of Jordanis gravely concerned by the Syrian army’s advance on Daraa province near his border. He also fears another 200,000 Syrian refugees turning up on his doorstep, bringing further de-stabilization to his kingdom.

And Benjamin Netanyahu must also keep an eye constantly on two escalating fronts – the North (Syria) and Gaza. All of this is not unexpected by President Trump. He still has a lot of financial clout! DONALD TRUMP MEETS VLADIMIR PUTIN ON JULY 16 Although preparations for the Putin-Trump summit were on the fast track, Moscow and Assad pushed forward with their plans which focused on removing obstacles from Iran’s path to a ramped-up presence in Syria. It is no secret that Vladimir Putin is aggressively consolidating his stake in Syria and promoting the Iranian footprint there, and he is ready to put the Russian fait accompli on the table as part of the glob- al order when he meets the US president in Helsinki. SYRIA & RUSSIA LAUNCH NEW ATTACKS ON OPPOSITION FORCES IN Sth SYRIA. JUNE 29. As the Syrian army and allies drive south, Russian forces, most of them hired mercenaries, are massing in the east and north, alongside pro- Iranian militias, ready to knock over the US-backed SDF and its Kurdish component, the YPG. In view of his scheduled meeting with Putin on July 16, Trump has seemingly decided to turn a blind eye to Putin’s support for Iranian and Hizbollah forces moving in along with the Syrian army, to overlook Putin’s conduct for now. And so Trump is to turn away from US allies in Syria for the present. The US administration in Washington and in most of its embassies in Middle East capitals, have turned blank faces of indifference as the Syrian army bludgeoned its way through civilian populations to retake its southern borders. In the absence of effective opposition, reliable military sources say Moscow is making good progress in its goal of extending Syrian military control over the borderlands with Israel and Jordan, and that the Russians are poised, ready to throw US military forces out of eastern and northern Syria. The process is moving fast.

SYRIA AND IRANIAN / HIZBOLLAH GAIN ACCESS TO ISRAEL’S BORDER Nawa, a town opposite the Israeli Golan border has taken the heaviest bombardment. 60,000 refugees fled the town and have joined the already 20,000 refugees on Israel’s northern border. The figures are staggering – 342 air strikes on the night of June 28, against rebel-held towns near the Israeli and Jordanian borders. 299 were conducted by the Russian air force, and 43 by Syrian pilots. Israel’s armed forces are distributing tents, food, water and medicines to the tens of thousands of Syrian refugees reaching its Golan border in flight from the incredibly brutal Russian and Syrian air strikes on southern Syria. Israel, Jordan, the Free-Syria rebels and Kurdish groups hitherto backed by the United States, were left to fend for their own security as best they could. By unleashing heavy air bombardments to clear the rebels who are still holding out in southern Syria, from the path of Assad’s army – Putin has trampled on the pledges he gave Israel and Jordan, and on doing so, has triggered an exodus of Syrian refugees. The tens of thousands settling on Israel’s doorstep could swell up to 250,000. In the meantime, futile expressions of concern about the downturn of their security support have come from both Jordan and Israel. Jordan’s King Abdullah scrambled onto a plane to Washington, and Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu secretly called US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. TRUMP’S HANDS ARE FULL It is hard to see Trump finding time to attend to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with so much urgent business on his plate – his summit with Vladimir Putin in mid-July, the North Korean nuclear issue, the trade wars he has set off with China, Canada and China, Iran’s machinations, and the immigration controversy at home.

THE GAZA BORDER CONFLICT KITE TERRORISM FROM GAZA CAUSING FIRES IN ISRAEL In a build up before and after the moving of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the G za’s “p aceful” Arab rioters launched a brazen attack on Israel’s borders; firstly by seeking to break down the barriers, and to penetrate Israel with the view to kill as many Jews as possible. But when that failed, they began relentlessly flying a variety of kites and explosive devices into Israel, causing more than 400 fires, destroying over 6,000 acres of farming land, forests and nature reserves, and causing millions of shekels in damage. Most of the kites carry metal mesh pouches containing a burning piece of coal or oil-soaked rag, which have sparked the fires in southern Israel. These cheap methods have presented a significant challenge to the mighty IDF (Israel Defence Forces). The military has used drones and other high-tech solutions to some positive effect, and it has hit many Hamas targets in Gaza, but every day the kites and balloons keep coming. IDF HITS HAMAS SITES IN SECOND WAVE OF STRIKES AS GAZA’S ATTACKS CONTINUE As Palestinian terror groups continued to fire mortars and rockets into Israel, IDF warplanes hit some 25 Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, in a wave of retaliatory strikes. 70 MORTARS WERE FIRED AT ISRAEL MAY 30. Terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip unleashed a massive rocket and mortar assault on Israel. Israel responded by striking dozens of Hamas targets. Three Israeli soldiers were wounded in the fierce fighting, which called into question the possibility of a new major Gaza war. GAZA TERROR ROCKET HITS IT’S OWN POWER LINES, LEAVING PALESTINIANS IN THE DARK

“Ashkelon will see it and be afraid. Gaza too will writhe in great pain; Ekron also, for her expectation has dried up. … Moreover, the king will perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon will not be inhabited. A mixed race will settle in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.” (Zechariah 9:5-6) IRAN’S NUCLEAR DEAL DISPUTE U.S. WARNS IRAN, AFTER IT MOVES TO STEP UP URANIUM-ENRICHMENT CAPACITY After Iran announced plans to increase its uranium- enrichment capacity, the U S warned that Washing- ton will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons. IRAN OPENS NEW NUCLEAR FACILITY FOR CENTRIFUGE PRODUCTION Iran’s nuclear chief inaugurated the Islamic Republic’s new nuclear enrichment facility that is geared toward producing centrifuges which will operate within the limits of the nuclear deal Tehran signed with world powers. IRAN REOPENS URANIUM PLANT AFTER 9 YEARS, TO STEP UP ENRICHMENT Iran has reopened a nuclear enrichment plant that has been inactive since 2009, as Tehran geared up to bolster its enrichment activities should the 2015 nuclear deal collapse. IRAN WON’T CO-OPERATE FULLY WITH NUKE INSPECTORS UNTIL DEAL IMPASSE RESOLVED Iran has raised the stakes in its standoff with the United States and European powers over the 2015 nuclear deal from which the Trump administration withdrew last month, with its United Nations envoy warning it would not co-operate fully with nuclear inspectors until the future of the deal was resolved. MASSIVE PROTESTS BREAK OUT IN TEHRAN JUNE 26, 2018. - A new wave of civil unrest erupted in Iran as citizens demand improvements in the economy. Crowds of protesters shut down the main market in Tehran after the Iranian national currency crashed against the U.S. dollar.

Protesters in Iran entered their third day of demonstrations over the country's faltering economy as President Hassan Rouhani claimed it faces "economic war" with the US. The protesters are chanting “death to Syria'” and “our enemy is here — not the U.S.” as they demand the government focus on improving the economy. TRUMP WILL DEMAND OF PUTIN, A TOTAL IRANIAN EXIT FROM SYRIA President Donald Trump intends to demand from his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, a full Iranian pull-out from Syria, making the subject a priority at the summit talks between the two leaders in July. TRUMP'S IRAN STRATEGY TARGETS OIL, PRESSES ALLIES TO END OIL IMPORTS OF IRANIAN OIL Following through on President Trump’s promise to squeeze Iran as he took the U.S. out of the 2015 nuclear deal, his administration has now announced details on new sanctions that will pressure countries from Europe to Asia, to slash imports of Iranian oil to zero by Nov. 4, giving allies no wiggle room (scope for manipulation) in dealing with Tehran.

(Joel 3:9-10) President Trump has six unprecedented steps in store for enhancing Israel’s military capabilities: 1. Clearing Israel to share intelligence by raising Israel from “major non- NATO ally” to member of the Partnership for Interoperability Initiative (PII); a new member of this exclusive club, alongside Australia, Finland, Georgia, Jordan and Sweden. 2. The US Mediterranean fleet will establish a permanent presence in the Israeli ports of Haifa and Ashdod, instead of occasional visits. US N vy aircraft carriers and Aegis destroyers will be berthed there.

3. The Israel Air Force will receive an additional increment of CH-52E Super Stallion cargo helicopters which are in service with the US 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit. The IAF will also be reinforced with new Boeing K-46 aerial refueling tankers. 4. The Israeli army will be supplied with a large quantity of GVU-39s, which are small diameter, 27 110kg precision-guided glide bombs, that enable bombers to carry a large number of accurate bombs in their holds. 5. The Israeli Navy will be provided with semi- submersible Alligator-class commando boats, a new semi-stealth submarine manufactured at the Oregon Iron Works. 6. The US will top up its own war reserve stock of weapons and ammo at the Negev base. This reserve pre-positions supplies of war materiel ready for use if needed for war. It includes a Strategic Petroleum Reserve in case of need. All in all, the Trump administration is providing Israel and its armed forces with the military resources for prepa ing for war of a quality and quantity far in excess of those possessed by NATO’s members. Trump has the above six unprecedented steps in store for enhancing Israel’s military capabilities. THE U.S., ISRAEL & NATO President Donald Trump is putting together an elaborate plan for elevating Israel’s NATO standing, and upgra its war arsenal, as well as expanding the US military presence in ISRAEL. These plans run directly contrary to the position of the North Atlantic Alliance Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, who said that NATO will not support Israel if it is attacked by Iran, as “the [alliance’s] security guarantee do s not apply to Israel” which is not part of the alliance. In an interview to the German newspaper Der Spiegel, Stoltenberg stressed that NATO has no interest in involving itself in Middle East conflicts. However, he had to admit that there is scant hope of the 2015 “Iran deal” surviving after the US withdrawal – despite diplomatic efforts by Germany, France and Britain. And he was concerned that Iran’s funding of terror contributes to the region’s instability.” THE LATEST BILDERBERG CONFERENCE

Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State, took part in the Bilderberg Conference, the annual private gathering of global political, business and media leaders, that took place in June, in Italy. Cardinal Parolin’s name is included in the list of 131 participants in this year’s event. His participation in the meeting has not been officially announced by the Vatican, though sources within the Secretariat of State confirmed that he was scheduled to take part in the meeting. It was the first time a high-ranking Vatican official has taken part in the Bilderberg Conference. Started in 1954 at the Hotel de Bilderberg in Ooster- beek, The Netherlands, and named after the same hotel, the Bilderberg Conference gathers each year some 120-150 participants, among them European and North American political elites, along with industrial, financial, academic and media figures. The first meeting took place at the invitation of Prince Bernhard of Lippe- Biesterfeld. Co-founders of the meeting were Polish politician Jozef Retinger, former Belgian prime minister Paul van Zeeland, and Paul Rijkens, who was then the head of Unilever. The success of the first meeting brought the organizers to stage an annual meeting. According to the groups’ official website, about two-thirds of the participants come from Europe, and the rest from North America, and one- third are political figures or government officials. This year’s meeting was set to discuss populism in Europe, the challenges of inequality, the future of work, artificial intelligence, U.S. midterm elections, free trade, U.S. global leadership, Russia, quantum computing, Saudi Arabia and Iran, the post-truth world, and other current events. The Bilderberg meeting’s official website stresses that discussions are private, no minutes are taken and no reports are written. CHRISTIANS FACING GENOCIDE IN BURMA (MYANMAR) As the world's attention is centered on the estimated 700,000 Rohingya Muslim refugees fleeing slaughter from the military in Burma, another group who are predominantly Christian are facing a similar fate. The Kachin people live in an area of northern Burma, near the borders of India and China. For decades, there has been a conflict between the government and Kachin rebels who have been fighting for independence. Recently, however, response from the Burmese military has greatly intensified. Attacks by Burmese air and artillery have been indiscriminate, and landmines have caused villages to be uninhabitable. Additionally, women have been ruthlessly raped, and camps of displaced persons have been cruelly targeted. Soldiers have occupied churches and interrogated entire congregations. Access by journal- ists, aid organizations and others has been denied. Many Kachins believe that the attacks have been increasing because the military's persecution of Rohingya Muslims has gone unpunished. Other ethnic and religious minorities are also worried they may be next. A new poll by Pew Research Centre indicates European Christians, once the driving force behind the faith’s expansion worldwide, no longer are. They may call themselves Christian, but Pew describes them as “non-practicing” and found that they have “drifted away,” “were alienated,” or just “stopped believing.” They only rarely walk in the doors of

a church. The survey found for example, that while 83% of Belgians say they were “raised as Christians,” only 55% now identify as Christian.
