DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE EL CAPITAN, 540 F STREET, HAWTHORNE, NV 89415
FROM THE NORTH (Reno) Take 180 to State Route 95 or 95A at Fernley, then travel Southbound toward Las Vegas. Merge onto E Street when you reach the 95 Bypass / Freedom Rd (McDonalds will be on your
left). Turn left on 5th Street, then left onto F Street.
FROM THE SOUTH (Bishop) Head North on Hwy 6 to State Route 95 then travel North to Hawthorne Alternate Route: Take 395 North to 167 / 359 to Hawthorne. Turn right on 5th Street once in town, then turn left onto F Street.
FROM THE SOUTH (Las Vegas) Head North on US / State Route 95. Turn right onto F Street.

DAILY EVENT DETAILS
FRIDAY, MAY 22, 2015Course Inspection is open all day. Maximum speed is 35mph, and you must obey all Nevada laws.COURSE INSPECTION IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Everyone is invited to attend the welcome party at 8:00pm at the El Capitan casino, with a start positionlottery draw for all pre-registered racers taking place at 9:00pm. $1,000 Blind Date Partners will also beestablished during the drawing.
SATURDAY, MAY 23, 2015
Course Inspection is open. Racer Registration and Technical Inspection will take place from 11:00am to
3:00pm at the El Capitan. Non- street legal vehicles are to be trailered into the back lot area.
Vehicles must go through Tech Inspection at the VORRA tent before completing the Registration
process. Vehicle Impound follows Tech in the Casino Lot for spectators until the Drivers Meeting
concludes. A parade is planned, pending local Sheriff’s approval, immediately after the meeting.
Race registration will be located in the El Capitan’s Lobby, and a completed Tech Form is required to
register. All participants must present a valid photo ID and sign waiver releases to receive
wristbands. A parent or legal guardian must accompany qualifying minor participants under the
age of 18. That parent/guardian must be reachable while the minor is on the racetrack in case of
emergency. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Registration payments can be made by cash, check
or credit card, with a separate $200 Transponder deposit required.
ProPit will be providing pit services for the remote pit location in between Check Points 1 & 2. It is highly
recommended that you utilize them as access to this area is limited and travel time from Start / Finish
during the race is approximately 2 hours. ProPit will be available during Tech & Registration for sign ups
and to drop off equipment. Please note that this is an independent service provided; all inquiries should
be made through ProPit.
A mandatory Driver’s Meeting takes place upstairs at the El Capitan at 4:29pm. All entries must attend.
Loss of starting position or time penalties may occur.
Please note: Minors (individuals under the age of 21) may pass through casino gaming areas only if
accompanied by a parent or guardian. The El Capitan lobby, banquet space & restaurants, and rooms
are open to minors.
SUNDAY, MAY 24, 2015
Race Day. Participants are asked to stage their vehicles at the Start/Finish line at the following times:
7:30am Class 9, 11 & Full Metal (10hr time limit), 8:30am All Other Classes (9hr time limit). All vehicles
may be held at the Start / Finish line at 5:00pm if deemed unable to complete their next lap within
published race time limit. The race time limit for first wave of vehicles to finish is 6:00pm. Individual DNF
deadlines are 6:00pm plus your stagger to the first starter in your grouping.

Race Operations Radio Frequency is 151.625 MHz. Participants can contact R.O. for assistance &
emergencies. Non-essential radio traffic must be avoided on this channel.
If your vehicle is disabled and need you assistance, you can fill out a stuck stub, distributed during
registration, and pass it on to the vehicle behind you. Drivers are asked to give these stubs to the first
available Race Official, either at a Visual, Road Crossing or Pit Area so that assistance can be deployed
with in a timely manner. If you break and are unable to finish the race or withdraw please notify Race
Officials IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, you are presumed to be in harms way if unaccounted for and will be
responsible for search and rescue efforts.
Crews are asked to obey all signage and keep chase equipment and vehicles to a minimum at all
designated Pit Areas. Fueling will only be allowed in designated Pit areas. Please view the full list of
BLM Special OHV Recreation Permit Stipulations on the VORRA website at www.vorra.net.
Awards will be held at 9:00pm at the El Capitan.
BLM STIPULATIONSALL TEAMS - Bring absorbent rugs, mats, tarps, etc. to be used for fluid containment under vehicles in
pit areas and during times that spills are likely to occur. A clean-up kit is also required, and can be as
basic as a shovel and heavy-duty trash bags capable of containing soil affected by a small spill. Spills
greater than 1 quart must be reported to Race Officials or a BLM Representative. Your efforts in this
regard are much appreciated, and will help assure a lasting presence of off road racing on public lands.

Note: It is essential that all persons participating in any event as a competitor, pit crew, official or courseworker, as well as observers and spectators, realize that motor racing is a sport that is considered to bedangerous. Our rules are as stringent as possible to minimize that danger.
SPECTATORS, PIT CREWS, PARTICIPANTS, AND WORKERS ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITIESOF THE RISK INVOLVED.
SPECTATOR RULES Spectators must travel on established or designated routes to transit to start and approved viewing
areas. Spectators are prohibited from entering designated pit or course areas, as well as fromtraveling on the race course at any time during an event.
Spectators shall be directed to park on one side of the road to allow for an open travel lane in case ofemergencies. Avoid parking vehicles on brush or grass.
Spectators are required to maintain a minimum of 150 feet from the race course unlessallowed in a designated spectator area determined to be safe from race vehicles.
Motorcycle and OHV free-play are prohibited in conjunction with and throughout the conduct of theevent.
