Commercial and Industrial manufacturing processes, supply chain & distribution, material management and chemical storage are highly regulated processes by state programs and federal regulations. According to the recently revised standard for Hazard Communication (OSHA 29 CFR§1910.1200- Subpart Z) and Global Harmonized System (GHS), manufacturers, users, importers and distributors constitute part of the regulated community which is governed by such rules and are subject to the new training and qualification requirements for their operations. OSHA-DOL is now integrating and requesting an established 16 sections format for all Safety Data Sheets (SDS's-Previous MSDS's) with a pictograms system and proper classification according to physical and health hazards.
