CPU Communications Ports
Serial Port Connections (1.2- 57.6KB)S1 Port is factory configured as RS232 (modem accessible)
with ELN Protocol for use with HC Designer
S2 Port is factory configured as RS485
with ELN Protocol for use with OI
Both serial ports can be software configured as
Modbus RTU Master or Slave (only 1 Master) using HC Designer
Ethernet Connections (Host & Peer-to-peer)E1 & E2 are 10/100BaseT ports
IP Addresses factory configured as:
E1 = 192.168.1.254
E2 = 192.168.2.254 C70 & C70R
HC900 Training Part 1 Version 4.2 5/14//07Honeywell Proprietary 3
Must be on different Sub-nets
Both ports operate in parallel (not redundant)
Up to 10 Sockets (5 in C30)
Remote I/OEthernet Private, 100Base-T (RJ-45) (not on C30)
Serial Port (S1 & S2) Hardware Setup
Either por t can be configured as RS232 or RS485
Factory set as: S1=RS232, S2=RS485
Lead and Reserve CPU in redundant
configuration must match

Function Block Number
assigned by the sequence
of programming.
AI = mnemonic
267 = block #267
Block Order number, or sequence
of execution during On-line
operation.
11 = the 11th block to be executed.
The order may be changed from
