Unit Test is a software verification and validation method in which a programmer tests individual units of source code during the development process with the purpose of identifying differences between the code and its design specifications. Unit testing includes all code paths, internal logic, exception conditions, error handling and compatibility with supported platforms.

Usability Test evaluates the user's ability to navigate the proposed solution via the user interface. The test is typically conducted in a focus group where participants complete frequently used or critical tasks using the user interface. Once the test is complete, the user experience is documented and analyzed. Potential issues are identified, and recommendations for adjustments and improvements are made. It is a way to increase a solution’s ease of use and ‘user friendliness’.

User Acceptance Test is conducted to determine whether or not the solution will meet the needs of the organization and the end user/customer. It validates that the solution satisfies the business requirements, will work as intended by the end user/customer in the real world and is based on real world business scenarios and data. It validates that the right solution was built.
