  • "NIC HDPE" profiled pipes are produced with internal diameters Di from DN 300 to DN 4000. Each pipe is provided with integrated socket. Standard length of pipe is 6 meter. Standard socket length is l40mm . Colour of pipes is black and can be provided with yellow inner layer on request.

    On special request, I1NIC HDPE I1 pipes can be supplied with other joining techniques like Extrusion Welding, Flange Connection & Butt Welding. The most preferred joint system is the Electro-Fusion welding, because the whole pipe system becomes a homogenous unit in electro-fusion.

    Transport

    The transport of "NIC HDPE" pipes is very easy as they are very good to move due to the low weight. Normally the pipes can be unloaded and transported to the trench by an excavator. which anyway is present on site . For the storage of the pipes and fitti ngs it is absolutely necessary that they are stored on a even ground. Free of stones 'and sharp-edged objects, so that point-loads are avoided . Further it is important to make sure that the sockets of the upper layer are not contacting the socke ts of the lower layer. This means, the pipe of each layer has to be rotated 180. During storage pipes need to be covered completely, to prevent them from direct exposure to sunlight.

  • The installation of NIC HDPE pipes is very easy. After the trench has been prepared in the same way as for all other pipes, the "NIC HDPE" pipe is laid down and aligned. The individual pipe parts are jointed with the different kinds of jointing techniques . The backlifting has to be carried out according to the requirements of the statical calculations. In general, the installation is carried out according to EN 1610. Proper installation is important for long life and good performance of pipes.

  • Jointing Technique Integrated locket 1\ eM of pipe

    "NIC HDPE I1 corrugated pipes have integral built-in bell for pipe sizes 200mm & above. For pipe sizes 100 & 150mm, a special coupler is fixed on one end of pipe. Pipes are supplied with factory-installed rubber gasket at spigot end. Installation of pipes is facilitated just by applying lubricant on gasket and then pushing spigot into bell end or coupler. Due to push fit jointing technique, these pipes have faster installation and low labor costs.

    Applications: I1NIC HDPE" corrugated pipes can be used for sewerage system, storm water system, drainage in public and private constructions, landfills, cross drains, culverts, etc. It can also be used as cable ducts for fiber optic cables or telephone cables.
