expensive for our participants, we rely heavily upon donated/loaned
items so we don’t run over budget!
Please check the list below to see if you have any of the items that you
would be willing to donate or LOAN to us for the week. If loaning, please
label with the “Please return to [Name]”.

We also take monetary donations towards VBS if you don’t have items and want to contribute to the fun! All items can be left in the coatroom when you come for Mass. VBS decorating will be June 9-10th so we’ll need all items no later than Saturday, June 9th.

THE WEST DEANERY CORPUS CHRISTI CELEBRATION will be hosted by St. Joseph Church in the Activity Center located at 670 W. Main
Street, Plain City, OH on Sunday, June 3, 2018. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for Adoration at 12:00 noon. Opportunity for private prayers will continue until 4:00 p.m. with Evening Prayer, followed by an outdoor Procession of the Blessed Sacrament (weather permitting), concluding with Benediction. Father Joseph Trapp II will be presiding along with other priests from the West Deanery Parishes. The church is handicap accessible. A light reception will follow. MAGNIFICAT SUBSCRIPTION: Those of you who recently subscribed to Magnificat, please make checks out to Sts. Simon & Jude in the amount of $32.00, place in an envelope marked “Magnificat,” as well as inthecheckmemolineandputincollectionordropoffattheparishoffice.This is a price increase from last year as Magnificat has not raised their rate in ten years.
AROUND USMASS OF HEALING: During this Marian month of May, the Mass of “Mary, Health of the Sick” will be held at St. Joseph Cathedral, 212 East Broad Street, Columbus. Following the Mass of Healing, a Healing Service will take place beginning with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Veneration of Relics of the True Cross, with each person having the opportunity to speak individually with one of several priests present to discuss their particular situation and receive a prayer of healing; the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick will also be available. The Healing Service will conclude with Benediction. All persons who seek Christ’s healing – cancer, heart, all physical illnesses and infirmities – are invited, as are family members, caregivers, and medical professionals.
