Head of Digital Delivery & Tech Location: Warsaw, Poland We are a technology recruitment partner focused on search and selection of IT experts internationally. Currently, we are looking for an accomplished experts for the role of Head of Digital Delivery & Tech. This role is responsible to lead the transformation to agile delivery model by managing the agile coach and scrum masters. He / She needs to assure that the right tools and processes are in place to enable the product owners and their squads to deliver projects in an agile way. The Sr IT Manager – Digital Delivery & Tech also sets the standards and guidelines for all digital delivery across different platforms and also assures that the right technical architecture is in place to delivery best in class digital solutions today and that we have a clear technology roadmap for the next 2-3 years. He / She works closely with the BRMs to track the digital projects portfolio and reports metrics and progress on a regular basis. Also assures that operations run efficiently by tracking and optimizing metrics on enhancements (PIFs) and support tickets. Programme Management Lead the Project Management Office within Digital IT and is responsible for delivering the digital transformation projects portfolio. Provides initial set up, support and subsequent detailed guidance on project management tools, procedures, processes, tools and techniques. Assures that Project Managers have the right profile and skills to delivery high quality projects. Constantly looks for best practices internally and externally to improve project delivery. Owns project timelines, manage throughput of all development teams and ensure timely escalation of any problem that needs to be resolved outside of the development team. Deliver concise management updates on project plans, issues and budget constraints at the agreed cadence. Works closely with BRMs and POs to have visibility of demand pipeline and leads the capacity planning process to assure that the squads are properly staffed to deliver. Agile Transformation Responsible for leading the transformation to agile delivery model within Digital IT. Actively engaging in conversation with Scrum masters, Product owners and development team leads, with the purpose to find new ways of eliminating waste in the teams, and thus, ensuring maximum throughput. Develops the team’s knowledge on agile by providing on the job coaching to the product owners and squads. Lead a group of chapter leads (front end, back end and QA) who define guidelines and assure adherence to these guidelines across the different platforms and squads. Sets the standards for the squads to deliver in agile way and oversees a group of scrum masters that maximize throughput and keep backlogs at an acceptable level. Work to optimize velocity across several development teams, challenge any downtime and ensure quick escalation of any issues blocking a team. Enhancements (PIFs) & ongoing support Ensure timely delivery of all day to day requests, manage expectations with product owners in terms of timeframes and continually feedback on progress, impediments and blockers. Assure that there is a clear process with visibility to all stakeholders (requestor, product owner, approver, etc) from the initial demand until the final delivery. Constantly tracks and reports on PIF delivery metrics and creates action plans to optimize delivery. Assures that operational support tasks are transitioned to Assist Team to gain efficiencies and release capacity in the squad s to focus on strategic work. Scope of Responsibilities:

EssentialExperience leading large technical and delivery teams.Technical background with recent experience in software development and agile teams preferable Experience in delivering digital projects and productsProven experience using agile project management methodsProven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguitySound understanding of the digital landscapeExperience in matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams (including software developers)Strong communication skills, ability to move from technical to business discussions.

DesirableExperience of working within FMCG, Personal Hygiene and Healthcare sector.

Technical / Professional Qualifications:

EssentialEducated in Business discipline or Computer Science to degree level, or equivalent experienceBusiness Analysis Diploma, Information Systems Examination Board, or similarMicrosoft Office Suite to Proficient level.

Skills/Experiences:

Platforms and Digital ArchitectureDefine the right architecture design across all platforms, set the standards on platforms integration and provide guidelines on technology to use and preferred partners.Perform technology assessments to select the best tech for our business needs.Manage our internal platforms (AWS hosted) and assure standards of environment controls, release management, capacity planning and partners ecosystem.Work with cyber security teams to assure that platforms are data stay secured, establishing a calendar of tests, scans and constantly looking at best practices.
