Rotations Week 1 ~ General SurgeryRotations Week 1 ~ General Surgery

This week I was in the operating roomThis week I was in the operating room

I got to see how the DeVinci worksI got to see how the DeVinci works

I liked this rotation but I don’t think I could I liked this rotation but I don’t think I could ever do thisever do this

This was by far my favorite rotation so farThis was by far my favorite rotation so far

They had a vaginal birth too but it was at the They had a vaginal birth too but it was at the same time so I didn’t get to see itsame time so I didn’t get to see it

I loved the nurses I worked with in this unit I loved the nurses I worked with in this unit they were all so nicethey were all so nice

This unit is definitely a emotional unit and This unit is definitely a emotional unit and because of that I don’t think I could be a nurse because of that I don’t think I could be a nurse in this unitin this unit

I showed up way early to this rotation I didn’t I showed up way early to this rotation I didn’t know we had to be there at 1:15 instead I know we had to be there at 1:15 instead I showed up at 12 like normalshowed up at 12 like normal

I enjoyed the Speech therapy over I enjoyed the Speech therapy over Occupational and Physical therapyOccupational and Physical therapy

Rotation 7 ~ ERRotation 7 ~ ER

I loved this rotation!!!!I loved this rotation!!!!

My mentor that I was with was so much fun My mentor that I was with was so much fun and he taught me a lot. He pretty much let me and he taught me a lot. He pretty much let me do what I want within reason.do what I want within reason.

I got to go in and see a Psych patient that I got to go in and see a Psych patient that wasn’t even his patient.wasn’t even his patient.

Rotation 8 ~ Respiratory TherapyRotation 8 ~ Respiratory Therapy

This rotation was really interesting!This rotation was really interesting!

I don’t think I could do this though because seeing I don’t think I could do this though because seeing some of those burns would make me sicksome of those burns would make me sick
