◦ AED (Automatic, External, Defibrillator) Placement in Schools.
◦ Concussion Plan◦ Mental Health Services in Schools
◦ Student Stress: The Race to Nowhere◦ Nutrition: healthy foods, lunch schedules, water
during PE, Student BMI Reports◦ Substance Abuse & Discipline Policies◦ Energy Drinks◦ Board issues: revised bylaws, recruiting new
members.◦ School Nurses
24 nurses, 1 in each school building except Murray High School/Enterprise, Ivy Creek and CATECH
Elementary nurses 6 hours/day Middle and high school nurses 7.25
hours/day 14 RNs and 10 LPNs

psychiatric, neurological, cognitive or developmental disabilities including: bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum, Down syndrome
RN – LPN supervisor partnerships developed for compliance with Nurse Practice Act
LPNs assigned to RN supervisor in feeder patterns
RNs perform such tasks as trainings, delegation and writing health care plans
Originally devised for 4 nurse supervisors, 1 position currently vacant
