Employee Assistance Program This program offers confidential support, expert information, and valuable resources at no cost to associates and their household members. Services are available 24/7. OTHER BENEFITS

Tuition assistanceFull-time and part-time associates are eligible for reimbursement of tuition, fees, and books after one year of employment. Courses or degree programs must be related to an area of business at Nelnet. Reimbursement maximum per calendar year varies between $2,625-$5,250.

Adoption benefitsAdoption benefits are offered to assist with financial costs of adoption and allow paid time off from work.

Long-term disabilityAfter one year of service, full-time and part-time associates are automatically enrolled in a long-term disability plan. The plan pays up to 60% of regular pay after 181 days of disability. Your insurance carrier determines approval.

Company-paid associate life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance Nelnet purchases term insurance equal to two times an associate’s annual salary, up to $500,000.

Voluntary benefitsAssociates have the option to purchase voluntary short-term disability, accident insurance, and cancer insurance.

Scholars programEach year, children (24 years of age or younger) of Nelnet associates have the opportunity to apply for scholarships worth up to $5,000. Nelnet associates must be employed three months prior to the application period.

Casual dress environmentOur dress code is casual. At times, business casual or business attire may be requested with adequate notice.

Parking subsidyParking is available at no cost or subsidized cost depending on your office location.
