Welcome to our enhanced newsletter, encompassing all the news under our Health Center Roof. It is our aim to communicate more with you and to share all the good news that is happening here. February finds some staffing adjustments in our Assisted Living neighborhoods. Nancy Dennen, RN has turned in her “interim” status as The Supervisor of Assisted Living and will assume that role permanently, over-seeing health and wellness in our Assisted Living neighborhoods. We are delighted to welcome her to this role. We also welcome Mary Norton, LPN to a full time Monday-Friday nursing role. Mary will support the on-going efforts of Nancy Dennen, RN and Penelope Serio, RN in providing outstanding and compassionate care to our residents.

In an effort to always improve our abilities through education we have set a goal to develop new strategies for 2017. Our first step includes having Susan Kelly, Director of Education assess our educational needs and she is asking for input from employees, residents and families. Our goal is to regularly check clinical competency, compliance with regulations for all areas, and continue our journey to be better partners and improve satisfaction for all.
